THE REAL ROOT CAUSE OF THE LEFT'S HYSTERICAL CHARGES AGAINST THE RIGHT REGARDING LOGHNER: DENIAL OF GLOBAL JIHAD AND FEAR OF WW4

Many commentators and analysts on the Right have said that the reason the Left blamed the Right for the Tucson shootings was because their ideology is bankrupt and they have nothing else beside Conservative Derangement Syndrome.

Even I opined as much.

But now - after more thought - I realize that there's a deeper cause.

I realized that blaming the Right for Tucson was similar to how the Left blames poverty and political repression by pro-Western governments for breeding jihadists.

Jihadists are made - according to this meme - when an alienated and impoverished man is brainwashed by a radicalized misinterpretation of Islam.

The problem with this is that the 9/11 attackers and the Christmas Bomber and the Times Square Bomber and the Stockholm Bomber and the London Metro Bombers were ALL MIDDLE CLASS, AND EDUCATED.

Nevertheless, the Left persists in this line. As recently as THIS WEEK Hillary said as much in a speech in Qatar.

WHY DO THEY ADHERE TO THIS NARRATIVE - THIS MEME - DESPITE THE FACTS?

Simple: Because the Left REFUSES to believe that jihad is rooted in Islam itself.

By blaming jihad on the poverty and alienation of the terrorists, they can argue that Islam is a "religion of peace" and that only alienated and impoverished Muslims are brainwashed by imams who are themselves "misunderstanders of Islam".

So - in the mind of these leftists, and according to the left's meme - ANYONE who is alienated can be brainwashed by any radical ideology.

Leftists - being good little postmodernists - are moral relativists who equate Christianity with Islam - some, like Andrew Sullivan have gone as far as to call conservative Christians "christianists" they way we call jihadists ISLAMISTS to distinguish them from the run of the mill Muslim who probably won't commit an act of terror.

The Left equates Terry McVeigh and Osama. They say angry white men are just as dangerous as angry Arab Muslim men.

(Which is ludicrous. Angry white men haven't committed nearly 17000 acts of terror since 9/11. Muslms have - and in the name of Islam.)

So... as soon as the news of the Tucson shootings broke and it first became known that the shooter was a white male, the Left went to work: He was an alienated angry white male who MUST have been influenced by the "Christianist White Right".

Not only does this meme attack the Right with A BLOOD LIBEL, not only does it enable the Left to maintain the false moral equivalency between Christianity and Islam, it enables them to maintain its fantasy that Islam itself - the Koran and the Hadiths and the Sura - is NOT the root cause of jihado-terror.

The Left is deluded on all counts. Self-deluded.

Fear of WW4 is why.

They are afraid to accept what WW4 REALLY is: a religious war - and one which has been going on for 1400 years.

Many on the Left prefer to think WW4 is phony - trumped up by Bushcheneymchimpyhitlerhaliburton to enrich Big Oil and "the military-industrial complex".

Many others on the Left blame ZIONISM AND THE JOOOZE!

Many others on the Lft believe that jihado-terror is not global, that it's a small phenomena pereptrated by just a few thousand twisted misunderstanders of Islam and sociopathic radicals who we can get used to - and who we can punish in the courts.

For all of these Leftists, blaming Palin for Loughner is a trifecta, a trifecta of denial.

If they persist in these fantasies, they shall become as disconnected from reality as Loughner - though perhaps not a dangerous, unless they start smoking tons of salvia perseverating on depressing apocryphal conspiracy crap.

I pray they see the light.
