LIBERALS IN ACTION - NEW YORK FOOT MODEL SUES APARTMENT BUILDING OVER ABUSE BECAUSE HER BOYFRIEND IS POOR

How can I say so confidently that these people are Liberals? Because they're friggin' Manhattanites. And, Manhattanites vote overwhelmingly Liberal.

For instance, in the 2004 Presidential Election, 82% of Manhattanites voted for John Kerry, the biggest doofus Presidential Candidate since Michael Dukakis.

A New York City foot and hand model claims her marriage to a footman in her ritzy apartment block has trod on building workers' and residents' class sensibilities.

Christina Ambers, dubbed the Heidi Klum of foot models, in July wed Angel Rotger, a former porter in the building on the well-heeled upper east side of Manhattan.

Soon after the wedding, Ambers claims, other building workers were up in arms, forcing her to flag her own taxis and handle her own packages. The building's residents gave her the cold shoulder and subjected her to abuse, she says, including an incident in which the building superintendent's wife hit Rotger in the groin. Ambers responded by handing the building a $10m (£6.1m) lawsuit.

"I hope that people can understand how awful it is to come home and to then be treated with hostility in a building where I have paid a lot of money to live," Ambers told the Daily News. "Nobody should have to live this way."

"The people in this building need to come into the 21st century," Ambers told the Daily News. "I fell in love with Angel because he is a sweet, caring man. How dare they look down on us."
