‘Cash for Clunkers’ Meets ‘Cash for Coffins’

According to an article in USA TODAY this morning, the demand for taxpayer-funded burials — let’s call it “Cash for Coffins” — is on the rise. On the heels of the glowing success (NOT!) of the federal government’s “Cash for Clunkers” program, perhaps the two programs can be combined in a demonstration of “government efficiency at work.
