ANOTHER BUSTED APPOINTMENT: Mudd Withdraws as DHS Intelligence Chief. “Phil Mudd, a career CIA employee who is President Obama’s nominee to be the Department of Homeland Security’s intelligence chief, has asked that his name be withdrawn from consideration, according to an authoritative source.” No word as to why. THE WITHDRAWAL STATEMENT SAYS THAT MUDD FELT HIS CONFRIMATION PROCEEDINGS WOULD BE A DISTRACTION.

IMHO: THAT'S A LOAD OF BS.

I SUSPECT IT WAS SOMETHING FAR MORE SERIOUS: I SUSPECT IT WAS NOT TAXES, BUT OBAMA'S INEPT AND ANTI-DEFENSE/ANTI-CIA HANDLING OF THE RELEASE OF THE EIT MEMOS.
