Muslim scholars who have called for greater dialogue with Christians began two days of talks with the Vatican to prepare for what church officials say will be a historic audience with Pope Benedict XVI. The group includes representatives of 138 Muslim scholars and intellectuals who have urged Christians and Muslims to develop their common ground of belief in one God.
Now, I'm not Roman Catholic, albeit a Christian. But I'm very disappointed that the Pope seems so willing to compromise with Islam.
The mullahs must be laughing up their sleeves.
Worse, the mullahs will interpret the Vatican's reported willingness for kumbaya as proof of the will of Allah that Islam should dominate.
