• WHEN HILLARY SAYS: "REDISCOVER THE VALUE OF STATESMANSHIP"?! - THIS IS CODE FOR SUBVERTING OUR FOREIGN POLICY TO THE UN AND THE EU.

• WHEN HILLARY SAYS: "RESTORE OUR LEADERSHIP"- WHAT SHE MEANS IS GET THE APPROVAL OF THE EURO-LEFT. BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN LEADING IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY.

• WHEN SHE SAYS: "GET OUT OF IRAQ" - SHE MEANS RETREAT; THERE'S NO MENTION OF VICTORY. VICTORY IS NOT IN HER VOCABULARY.

• WHEN SHE SAYS "LIVE UP TO OUR DEMOCRATIC VALUES" - SHE MEANS BY ABANDONING OUR NEWLY DEMOCRATIC ALLIES IN IRAQ!? (ACTUALLY, THIS PHRASE CODE FOR WEAKENING OUR SURREPTITIOUS DEFENSES.)

Hillary writes:

The tragedy of the last six years is that the Bush administration has squandered the respect, trust, and confidence of even our closest allies and friends.

This is BS. The Europeans who were most opposed to our Iraq policies - France and German - are now CLOSER to us than before.

Hillary writes:

Our nation has paid a heavy price for rejecting a long-standing bipartisan tradition of global leadership rooted in a preference for cooperating over acting unilaterally, for exhausting diplomacy before making war...

This is LUDICROUS: We gave Saddam 12 years before giving him a DIPLOMATIC ultimatum; DIPLOMACY WAS EXHAUSTED.

The rest of the essay is boilerplate BS.

BOTTOM-LINE:

• Kerry was more qualified than Hillary, and he was unfit for command - SO WHAT DOES THAT MAKE HER!?

• The Clinton years were marked by gross failures to adequately confront and defeat or deadly enemies. WE MUSTN'T return to those polices.

• If Hillary doesn't have the BALLS to stand up to the Democratic leftist base - and her 180 on Iraq proves she doesn't - then she doesn't have what it takes to be POTUS.
