One Palestinian refugee camp here in northern Lebanon is today a smoldering, sniper-infested, booby-trapped battlefield where a few hundred al-Qaida inspired fighters have been making an Alamo-like last stand against the Lebanese army.We're not sure what's particularly "Alamo-like" in this last stand that the last-stand-ishness of the suicidal battle itself doesn't cover, but we'd certainly be interested in finding out. At least he didn't use Masada.
