Defense Minister Benny Gantz, the politician who has escaped the ire of the public perhaps the most, now stands at a key position where no one – neither from the coalition nor from the opposition – dare attack him.One of the worst pseudo-politicians in history could very well undo all the hard work that was done over the past years by the Likud government. It's very sad.
Gantz is taking us back to the 90s and the Oslo Accords. The flattering meetings, talk of brave actions, forced smiles, and that which the PA officials say in their own language, in Arabic. Gantz sees steps that build trust, they see struggle. Gantz sees peace, they see weakness.
While Gantz says that "the one responsible for sending troops into battle is the one responsible for preventing it," while Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas declares that "the aid we received will help the Palestinian hold onto his land and give him time to continue to fight the occupation."
History is repeating itself as if we have learned nothing from the first strategy.
The trust-building steps that Gantz has taken without asking anything from the PA in return are three-fold: economic, territorial, and demographic.

Bennett sold out Negev and Galilee
Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the government ahead of the approval of the "Electricity Law" that will allow illegal homes in the Arab sector to be connected to the electricity grid. What Bennett's done is prove a supposedly religious politician can be just as awful as a secular one, and take repellent directions causing serious damage to the country.
Netanyahu said that "last week the first Israeli-Palestinian government of Bennett and the Muslims approved the reunification of 10,000 Palestinians. Today they add to the crime and approve the 'Electricity Law' which allows electricity for tens of thousands of illegal buildings without a building permit.
''They are selling the Negev, the Galilee and the Triangle, After these illegal homes tens of thousands more will follow. In doing so, they are giving weight to the "Palestinian right of return" vision.
Netanyahu accused: "Bennett, Sa'ar, Lapid and Gantz - you know exactly what you are doing. You are selling the country to the Islamic movement for your political survival. Shame on you."

The fiasco of the French legal system endangers Jews and women alike
His grandson, French attorney Nathanael Majster, 54, spoke of his grandfather during his testimony before a parliamentary commission of inquiry set up by the French National Assembly into the possible police and judicial misconduct during the investigation of the murder of French Jewish doctor and schoolteacher Sarah Halimi in the heart of Paris on April 4, 2017.The catastrophe with the Halimi case isn't the only horrific situation going on France. A similar case occurred involving judoka Margaux Pinot, whose coach and would-be boyfriend Alain Schmitt was acquitted of spousal assault after he'd attacked her and left her bruised in the past month:
"As the grandson of a deportee, I cannot make peace with the fact that in modern-day France, a Jew is thrown to death off her balcony and this is received by complete indifference and organized lies," Majster told commission members, explaining why he joined efforts to reveal the truth about the gruesome murder, and that the Muslim perpetrator will not be prosecuted and will be allowed to return to his everyday life without paying for the terrible deed he committed.
"In my professional life, I have not defended matters relating to the Jewish community," Majster told Israel Hayom. "However, in this case, I was one of the first ones to warn of the shortcomings of the legal system. No one cared about the fate of this poor woman.
French athletes have expressed disbelief over the acquittal of a coach accused of domestic violence against Olympic judo champion Margaux Pinot. This is also some of the worst BS I've ever seen a judicial official spewing out. Yet nothing shocking here either. The judge has one of the most repellent excuses to avoid punishing an offender he must sympathise with. Pinot responded later with the following:
Ms Pinot accused her partner and judo trainer Alain Schmitt of punching and attempting to strangle her during an altercation over the weekend.
The Olympic gold medallist, 27, filed a complaint against Mr Schmitt.
He was arrested but denied the allegations and was acquitted in court.
A judge said there was not "enough proof of guilt" for the prosecution to proceed when delivering his verdict in a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
"A court is never there to tell who is telling the truth and who is lying," the judge said.
Shortly after the hearing, Ms Pinot tweeted a picture of her swollen face, marked by cuts and several bruises. She herself is very lucky to have survived this assault. The Israeli judoka federation wisely banned Schmitt from a job they originally offered him to work as a trainer for their classes. This travesty of justice is exactly why I feel that what began with antisemitism doesn't stop there. Gender bigotry is another serious issue that's not being handled properly in France either, recalling there were cases where Muslim rapists were let off the hook, in example. It wouldn't be shocking if the judiciary had refused to prosecute Schmitt even if Pinot had died, as has tragically been the case so far with Halimi. This is exactly why it'd be strongly advised for everyone concerned about antisemitism to condemn gender bigotry as well. The French judicial system is in very dire need for replacing every bad apple they've got there. As soon as possible.
In one tweet, in which she alluded to her wounds and "the blood strewn on the floor of my apartment", she asked: "What was missing? My death at the end, perhaps?"
"It was probably judo that saved me," she added in the tweet. "And my thoughts are also with those women who can't say the same."
Destroying Jewish buildings after a terrorist attack does not improve the situation
Right-wing lawmakers expressed outrage on Friday after security forces demolished several buildings – including the local yeshiva – in the Homesh outpost in Samaria just hours after a memorial service was held in honor of resident Yehuda Dimantman, who was murdered last week in a terrorist shooting attack. It's good they're reminding of what a repulsive piece of garbage Sharon turned out to be in the end. What he did really wound up leading to a disastrous atmosphere as seen today. The actions of the government must be condemned for the harm it causes.
The Religious Zionist Party said in a statement, "The tens of thousands of Jews who went up to Homesh ... expressed the values of devotion and belief in the righteousness of the path. In contrast, [Prime Minister Naftali] Bennett, [Interior Minister Ayelet] Shaked, [Yamina MK Nir] Orbach, [Religious Services Minister Matan] Kahana, and their associates expressed the complete opposite: the loss of values, selfishness, deceit, and falsehood.
"They understand that the energies of the devoted public who went up to Homesh and with them the public that believes – traditional, Orthodox, secular – can overthrow the government they formed with the extreme Left and terrorism-supporting Arabs."
"Like [former Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon did in his time, so too Bennett and Shaked switched sides. They will do everything, and we mean everything, to protect their seats. Including destroying settlements in Israel. The destruction is meant to weaken and hurt, but we will persevere."

Arab girl stabs neighbor in Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood
A woman, 26, was seriously injured from a stabbing near the entrance to the tomb of Shimon Hatzadik in Jerusalem Wednesday morning. The woman was evacuated to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus with the knife still in her back. The women's very lucky to be okay. But here's the really disturbing part:
Before 9:00 AM, Police announced that they caught the stabber, an Arab girl, 15, who was discovered inside a school in eastern Jerusalem. She used a 30 cm. knife to attack her victim.
A teacher, and two additional students were arrested, along with the terrorist.
Video footage shows the terrorist waiting for a victim to follow, stabbing her, and then running away.
“When we arrived at the scene, we saw near the entrance to the tomb of Shimon HaTzadik a woman with children who was on her way to bring them to daycare when she was stabbed,” said MDA paramedics Moshe Cordova and Dudi Gur. “She was fully conscious and walked. We provided her with life-saving medical care and urgently evacuated her to the hospital when her condition was serious but stable. On the way she communicated with us.”
After being treated at Hadassah Mount Scopus hospital, the hospital now lists her condition as lightly wounded and she is stable and conscious. She was treated her for a stab wound to the back. The mother was released from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
The children were not harmed and remained under the supervision of police officers on the scene.
Authorities announced Wednesday that the woman who was stabbed earlier in the day in Jerusalem's Shimon HaTzadik neighborhood (also known as Sheikh Jarrah) is 26-year-old Moriah Cohen. She was attacked while walking her children to school by a 15-year-old girl who lives in the neighborhood.Again, they're lucky. In this Times of Israel report, which uses the MSM requirement to call the neighborhood by an Islamic name:
[...] When asked whether he knew the attacker, Dvir said, "It seems she is a neighbor of ours. She followed my wife. Moriah got to an intersection not far from our house. She told me that one of our sons screamed, 'Mom, you have a knife in your back.' It was a miracle.
"The terrorist was probably startled by the situation and fled, which was a miracle because our five children were there. Had she continued, I don't know how the situation could have ended. Ever since Operation Guardian of the Walls, our house was hit by 11 Molotov cocktails, and targeted by rockthrowers. We will continue to live here, that is part of our mission.
"Moriah is feeling well. The knife was long but did not injure internal organs. Please God, she will recover and be discharged from the hospital today."
In November, Israel Hayom interviewed Moriah and Dvir, who spoke about their lives in the flashpoint neighborhood.
Police said the suspect was a 14-year-old girl who lives in Sheikh Jarrah. A member of a well-known local family, the suspect lives in a home, like many in Sheikh Jarrah, embroiled in a court battle with Jewish groups that have contested the property’s ownership.Seems the girl let the legal matters go to her head, and her parents certainly did, to the point of influencing their children to commit such a horrific act. Now, they're all in big trouble with the law, as are some of the school staff at what's possibly an Islamic madrassa.
“The stabber is our neighbor, she lives right across from us,” husband Dvir Cohen told media, though he admitted the families are not friends.
Police officers arrested the girl a short time after the stabbing at her neighborhood school. Her father and mother were also detained for interrogation, as well as another student, a teacher, and the school’s principal.
School staff will be questioned as to whether there was any prior knowledge that the girl planned to carry out an attack, Channel 13 News reported.
[...] The incident comes after a string of similar terrorist attacks in Jerusalem. On Saturday, a Palestinian terrorist stabbed a man walking next to the Old City, then was shot dead by Border Police officers.
[...] Opposition leader MK Benjamin Netanyahu also wished Cohen a full recovery and recommended that “an iron fist is the only answer to the increase in the number of terror attacks.”
Leader of the opposition far-right Religious Zionism party MK Bezalel Smotrich said he will hold an “emergency meeting in the Knesset to discuss the matter of increasing violence by Arabs against Jews across the country.”

Israeli police and prison service corruption must be mended
Nir Hefetz, the prosecution’s star witness, said his police interrogation included attempts to destroy his family, as former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s defense team cross-examined him before the Jerusalem District Court on Wednesday. It goes withou saying that to abuse the man in such a way is monumentally offensive, and it certainly damages the police's credibility by making it look more like they stalked his family. This should by all means serve as an important message why leftist partisans cannot remain in running the police.
Hefetz had served as a top aide to Netanyahu for years until 2017, but was flipped by the police into being their key witness against Netanyahu after 15 days of interrogation and detention.
As part of his strategy to undermine the testimony of Hefetz against Netanyahu as coerced and manufactured, Defense lawyer Boaz Ben Tzur was trying to emphasize for a second day how allegedly abusive the police treatment of Hefetz was.
The second involves the wardens in the prison system "pimping out" female guards to Islamic terrorists, no matter how sexually abusive the latter were:
In June 2018 at 8 p.m., then-Channel 20 journalist Liran Levi broke a story that should have caused an earthquake in this little Israel of ours. He exposed a scandal at Gilboa Prison, [in] which senior prison officials allegedly pimped out young female guards to keep terrorist prisoners happy, allow them to do what they wanted with the women. The same guards were reportedly subjected to sexual harassment and even assaulted by terrorists, and will carry the scars for the rest of their lives.Read more. This too is most extremely horrifying, exposes leftist gender bigotry within the prison operating system proper, and cannot be ignored under any circumstances. It's a total embarrassment.
No one believed Liran. Maybe because it was Channel 20, maybe because he was a young reporter, maybe because it was too horrifying to be true. But Liran didn't give up: he attached himself to the female guards, probed, challenged the Israel Prison Service, the Israel Police, and the State Attorney's Office. Despite everything, the investigation against the prison's intelligence officer, Rani Basha, was closed by Deputy State Attorney Momi Lemberger.
Last week, maybe because of a miracle, the scandal resurfaced when Gilboa Prison Warden Freddy Ben Shitrit testified before a government panel probing a prison break. Ben Shitrit mentioned the "pimping incident," which did not happen on his watch, and admitted that the prison would "pimp out" young female soldiers assigned there and "supplied female soldiers to terrorists for sexual purposes." Is Ben Shitrit trying to distract people from the terrorists' escape? It's not impossible. Still, we should thank him. Too many people swept the affair under the rug too quickly, leaving behind three female guards who were humiliated and scarred and a lack of justice.

Israel's president Isaac Herzog visits Hebron
The historic ties of the Jewish people and the State of Israel to the biblical city of Hebron are beyond dispute, President Isaac Herzog said on Sunday, as he marked the first night of Hanukkah by lighting a candle in the Tomb of the Patriarchs.Well he was wise not to cave to that any more than to the leftists in the Knesset. That's why he's certainly earning some credit and admiration for attending the ceremony at the Patriarchs Cave in Hebron, and proving above all that he can put the subject above politics, as it should be. Thank goodness sanity's prevailed here. A real Hanuka miracle indeed.
“My brothers and sisters, today too, with all the complexities – and I am not ignoring these complexities for a moment – the historical affinity of the Jewish people to Hebron, to the Cave of the Patriarchs, to the heritage of our matriarchs and patriarchs, is not in doubt,” Herzog said. “Recognition of this attachment must be beyond all controversy.”
Palestinians and Israeli left-wing politicians and activists protested his decision to visit the city, which they do not recognize as having any connection to Jews despite the Cave being considered the resting place of the patriarchs and matriarchs.
Hamas threatened violence in the wake of Herzog’s visit to Cave.

The Reform movement's connections to anti-Israeli sources and BLM
When the current government was formed this past summer, among the new ministerial departments created was one named “Hayahadut Hamit-hadeshet” (which loosely translates as “renewable Judaism"), within the framework of the Diaspora Affairs Ministry, and this new department is now being used to funnel a massive budget of no less than NIS 40 million to Reform and Conservative groups, to fund their various projects..."As noted further on in the op-ed, the Reforms also embrace Critical Race Theory, which has surely got to be one of the most horrific wrongs they could possibly commit. And if Naftali Bennett's farcical government with Yair Lapid funds them, they'll be doing something worse than not separating between religion and state. If anything, they'll be funding anti-Israeli movements by extension.
But Israel should not fund the Reform Movement. Here is why:
1. Reform rabbinical and cantorial students signed a letter accusing Israelis of being racists, providing fuel for BDS. On November 3, 2021 bloger Elder of Zion reported "Anti-Zionist Jews are loving an article by Marc Tracy that will be published in this coming Sunday's New York Times magazine, Inside the Unraveling of American Zionism. Tracy interviews some of the Jewish rabbinical and cantorial students who signed a letter in May that attacked Israel. The letter compared Israel's treatment of Palestinians to American racism..." (For the truth click here.)
2. The Reform Movement enthusiastically embraces Black Lives Matter. BLM calls for "dismantling of the Zionist project, dismantling of the settler-colonialist project". This video shows Black Lives Matter co-founder calling for Israel's destruction.
On February 17, 2021 Samanta Mandeles reported in Legal Insurrection "Professor Marc Lamont Hill is an influential and high-profile leader of two movements: The Black Lives Matter movement and the anti-Israel movement. The “intersectional” hijacking and crossover of domestic movements in the anti-Israel cause is something we have covered for years.
Lamont Hill just admitted what we all knew, but some people deny: one of the goals of the Black Lives Matter movement is the destruction of Israel. In a Zoom panel event on February 6, 2021, organized by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)’s “BDS and Palestine Solidarity National Working Group, National Political Education Committee, DSA Muslim Caucus, and the Afrosocialists and Socialists of Color Caucus,” the panel featured Temple University professor Marc Lamont Hill alongside fellow Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) supporters Omar Barghouti, Sumaya Awad, and Ajamu Amiri Dillahunt.
"Panel frontrunner Marc Lamont Hill is just as virulent an anti-Israel polemicist as his co-speakers. He is perhaps best known in pro-Israel circles for his repetition of the popular Hamas slogan (“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!”) during a speech at the United Nations in 2018.
This is of course one of the reasons why I'm disgusted in retrospect at the obnoxious receptions Haredi extremists - many of whom are anti-Zionst/Israel themselves, ironically enough - gave the Women of the Wall in past years. It only helped give them publicity they didn't deserve. Those in the Haredi community who did all that and allowed it owe an apology.

BDS-supporting novelist gets her books banished by Israeli bookstores
Israel's two major bookstore chains, Steimatzky and Tzomet Sefarim, will stop selling Sally Rooney's books, the two announced on Thursday.I think the correct word the paper meant to use was "expressed", but in any event, the point was made. It seems we have here an anti-Israeli novelist who's gone overboard in business terms, and now, she's facing a suitable backlash. People with common sense here shouldn't buy her books, of course.
Rooney's books have been removed from the two companies' websites, and they have begun the process of removing the books from their stores of which there are over 200 combined across the country.
This move comes after Modan Publishing House said last month that Rooney would not allow her new book, Beautiful World, Where Are You?, to be published in Israel because she supports BDS. Modan had previously published Rooney's other books, Normal People and Conversations with Friends, in Hebrew. Rooney later stated that her problem was with Israel and not with her books being translated.
"It would be an honor for me to have my latest novel translated into Hebrew and available to Hebrew-language readers," she said in a statement. "But for the moment, I have chosen not to sell these translation rights to an Israeli-based publishing house."
This is not the first time Rooney has experienced anti-Israel opinions, as the actions and opinions of her characters in her previous books are also anti-Israel.
Turkish invasion of Cyprus destroyed Jewish life in the north
Since 1974, however, around 40 percent of the Cypriot territory in the north of the island nation has been illegally occupied by Turkey. That year, Cyprus was invaded by the Turkish military twice and exposed to an ethnic cleansing campaign which forcibly changed the demographic character of the island country. So here's another continuing actual occupation by Islamic sources that the western world does nothing to mend, and is an example of shameful disrespect for history.
Many crimes were committed by Turkish troops against indigenous Greek Cypriots. Civilian targets such as hospitals were bombed. Greek Cypriots, including children, were murdered. Civilians were arbitrarily detained by the Turkish military authorities and were put either in prisons or concentration camps. Some were made to perform forced labor. The European Commission on Human Rights documented the rape of women and children aged 12 to 71, including those who were pregnant or mentally retarded. The rapes were so widespread that the Church of Cyprus was compelled to relax its previous strictures on abortion.
Nearly 200,000 Greek Cypriots were forcibly expelled from their homes by the Turkish invasion forces and were replaced by illegal settlers from Turkey and Turkish Cypriots. Lands, houses and other properties belonging to Greek Cypriots were seized, looted and distributed to Turks. As a result of this ethnic cleansing, northern Cyprus, which was for millennia a majority-Greek area until 1974, has been turned into a Turkish colony.
Historically, large Jewish population groups lived across coastal towns in Cyprus such as ancient Salamis in the city of Famagusta, which is today under Turkish occupation. Sadly, the invasion campaign has brought widespread destruction to all non-Muslim Cypriot historic sites.
To this day, the occupying forces continue to plunder and destroy the Cypriot cultural heritage, including the Jewish heritage of the occupied area. The Jewish cemetery there, for instance, has been destroyed. According to the 2012 report "The Loss of A Civilization: Destruction of cultural heritage in occupied Cyprus,"
“The historic Margo Jewish Cemetery, a national monument for the Jewish people, southeast of Nicosia, has been desecrated and destroyed in the same way as Christian cemeteries in the area occupied by Turkish troops have been desecrated and destroyed.
“The Margo Jewish Cemetery is home to the graves of Jews of the diaspora of 1885 and of Jewish refugees who came to Cyprus after the Second World War.
“The cemetery is located in a strictly controlled military area and is guarded by an armed Turkish soldier. Jewish organisations and other groups have persistently petitioned for free access to the cemetery to conduct religious ceremonies, but these requests have not been granted by the occupying power and its puppet regime.”
“We have visited the cemetery several times,” Philippou confirms. “But we haven't been able to hold any religious ceremonies, just a quick visit under supervision. We would like to have it restored, but no permission was given thus far.”
See a video of the destroyed Jewish cemetery in the Turkish-occupied part of Nicosia here.

GOP introduces bill to prevent US consulate from being reopened in Jerusalem
US Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, along with 33 other Republican senators, introduced a bill on Tuesday meant to block the Biden administration from opening a consulate serving Palestinians in Jerusalem. While the Republican bill is commendable, Jerusalem's mayor, by contrast, is taking a very weak stance:
The Upholding the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Law Act of 2021 is meant to ensure the full implementation of the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act and stop what Hagerty views as the Biden administration’s attempted subversion of that law. [...]
Hagerty said: “It is regrettable that the Biden administration insists on making moves that divide the United States and Israel when our two nations should be laser-focused on stopping Iran’s terror-sponsoring regime from going nuclear, on countering growing threats from Hezbollah, Hamas, and other Iran-backed terrorist groups, and on strengthening and expanding the historic Abraham Accords that truly have increased peace in the Middle East.”
“The Trump administration kept its promise to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish State, and Congress must do everything in our power to strengthen our posture,” he added.
Jerusalem's mayor dismissed media speculation on Tuesday that a US consulate for Palestinians in the city would be denied municipal services if the Biden administration reopens it despite Israeli opposition.[...]I'm sorry, but considering Biden's demands to reopen the consulate are a flagrant violation of law, that's exactly why the local taxpayers shouldn't have to have their money wasted on such a blatant, dangerous action. Moshe Lion's not improving the situation.
Asked on Israel's Army Radio whether the municipality might consider cutting off water or power to a future consulate, or refusing to collect its rubbish, Lion said: "No way ... There is no such intention."
"Wherever the municipality has to provide services, it will provide services," he said. "One has to provide this by law, and there is no reason not to do so."
Now, most fascinatingly enough, the State Department's admitting it would be up to Israel's government to approve this:
The State Department confirmed in a Senate hearing on Wednesday that it could not open a consulate for Palestinians in Jerusalem without Israel’s authorization. So they admit it. But it still remains to be seen whether they'll actually respect it, something entirely different. The only reason they're backing off this so far is because of the PR embarrassment it's become. But that doesn't mean they're not intent on pushing this down everyone's throats in the forseeable future, and that's bad.
Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tennessee), who proposed a bill this week to ensure that the only American diplomatic entity in Jerusalem would be the embassy to Israel, asked Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Brian McKeon about the matter in a meeting of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
“President [Joe] Biden’s proposal to open a second US mission in Jerusalem would begin to reverse the recognition of Jerusalem, and it would divide Israel’s eternal and undivided capital city,” Hagerty said.
“I just want to confirm something on the record," said. "Is it your understanding that, under US and international law, the government of Israel would have to provide its affirmative consent before the United States could open or reopen the US consulate to the Palestinians in Jerusalem, or does the Biden Administration believe it can move forward to establish a second US mission in the Israel capital city of Jerusalem without the consent of the government of Israel?”
"Senator," McKeon responded, "that’s my understanding – that we’d need to get the consent of the host government to open any diplomatic facility.”

Biden and Blinken acting out of spite against Israel
Washington's plans to forcibly open a Palestinian consulate in Jerusalem are set to be the greatest humiliation Israel has ever experienced.Tragically, that's exactly what they had in mind all along. And Lapid cannot be trusted on this either. This is one of the worst things about this lefitst hijacking of leadership in the USA.
The Americans are well aware of Israel's opposition to the move. Prime Minister Naftali Bennett made that much clear in a meeting with US President Joe Biden at the White House.
Speaking at a conference hosted by The Jerusalem Post last week, Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar said: "I want to be perfectly clear: We oppose it. I heard that for the president, it's a campaign promise. For us, it's the promise of generations."
According to international law, the opening of a diplomatic mission or the altering of its status requires the written signature of the host country's foreign minister – who in this case is Yesh Atid party head Yair Lapid. Even if Lapid, who has sworn his allegiance to a unified Jerusalem countless times, was willing to align himself with the administration's stance, he knows his authorization of the move would lead to the government's collapse. That is why he has shifted to an opposing stance.
Nevertheless, with Lapid by his side, the US secretary of state announced in Washington: "We'll be moving forward with the process of opening a consulate as part of deepening of those ties with the Palestinians." Or in other words, we have decided to show contempt for Israel's position.

Former Labor party MK says Shimon Peres sexually assaulted her in the mid-80s
Colette Avital, a former Labor member of Knesset and a former Israeli consul-general to New York, alleged that the late president Shimon Peres sexually assaulted her twice in the 1980s, including one time when he was prime minister. This is definitely horrific, though not particularly shocking, that a man notorious for his role in the Oslo accords could do something incredibly nasty to a woman, not unlike former movie producer Harvey Weinstein, who's now in prison for his crimes. And it's not going to improve Peres' image in retrospect. All this does is symbolize the tragedy of having only so many terrible leftist men in politics who're using their immunity to get away with vile crimes. Now, it looks like another example's been discovered of one in Israel who exploited his positions to potentially take advantage of more than one woman, and we could be hearing more allegations soon enough. And all this happened because the leftist MSM does all they can to protect them while they're in office, and only throws them under the bus long after they're gone.
In an interview in the Haaretz newspaper published Thursday, Avital said she was summoned to Peres’s office, while he was serving as prime minister in 1984. The pair discussed potential jobs she could hold in his administration after her return as a diplomat stationed in Paris.
As she got up to leave, Avital told Haaretz, “he pressed me against the door suddenly and tried to kiss me.” Avital said she pushed him away and left the room, “and my legs were shaking when I left there, it repulsed me.”
The former MK, who worked closely with Peres for many years afterward, said however that for two years following the incident she avoided seeing him.
Avital also alleged that Peres had sexually assaulted her several years before when he was visiting Paris, where she served as a senior diplomat.
According to Avital, she was invited to have breakfast with Peres at the hotel where he was staying. When she arrived, however, she was told they would meet in his room for “security reasons.”
Avital said that as she entered the hotel room, Peres was waiting “in pajamas” and shoved her toward the bed, but she resisted and left.
“It took a few seconds,” she said.
Avital said she told the Labor party’s then-spokesman, Yossi Beilin, who was in the adjacent room.
“The next time Peres arrives in Paris I’m not remaining alone with him. You’ll be with me,” she said she told Beilin.
Avital also said Beilin was not shocked when she told him.
“He responded with a poker face. He understood,” she said.

The brawl started in Kafr Qasim by what're surely mutawas
Police arrested four suspects over the weekend after several officers were assaulted early Friday by private security guards working for the central town of Kafr Qasim. Government and police leaders expressed outrage at the attack on law enforcement officials in the Arab Israeli town. This is telling quite a bit too, when an Islamic MK is involved in forming a group that commits a violent crime, as the group in this incident did. Those arrested should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Most importantly though, they have to wean themselves off of the Religion of Peace, which tragically influenced them for the worse, making them into something not all that different from Islamic morality police (mutawas).
The officers had sought to enter the town’s municipality after receiving a report that someone had been violently taken into the building, but were denied entry by the guards. A scuffle broke out and several cops were beaten and bloodied.
Hebrew media reported on Saturday that the guards were part of an organization hired by local leaders to maintain order in the town amid the epidemic of violent crime in the Arab community. According to Channel 13 news, MK Walid Taha of the coalition’s Ra’am party had himself been involved in forming the group. Taha did not comment.

Netflix adaptation of Grendel makes a big deal out of hiring a Muslim to play the star
Abubakr Ali was 10 years old when two hijacked airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001.The problem here is that the actor is making such a big deal out of being hired despite his religious background, and the network is going out of their way to whitewash it. Worst is the victimology angle they resorted to, without any consideration for how 9-11 Families and survivors of the attack could feel. And Wagner himself doesn't seem particularly troubled:
The terrorist attacks took place a year after Ali moved to the United States from Egypt, and they changed his life forever. From that day forward, the child in Ali became stifled, he says, aching under the weight of blame Muslim communities were forced to endure.
Acting became his only escape, he says, a passion he discovered unexpectedly in high school after taking a required drama class.
Now Ali is making Hollywood history as the first Arab Muslim male actor to portray a series lead in a comic book adaptation, Netflix has confirmed to CNN.
The 30-year-old actor will be featured in the upcoming series "Grendel" as a vigilante hero who goes by the same name. Grendel is the masked identity of Hunter Rose, a fencer, writer and assassin "seeking to avenge the death of a lost love," Netflix said in a press release.
For Ali, the role is a welcome challenge -- and the chance he doubted he would ever get.
"I'm so excited about this opportunity. There is so much possibilities with this. There are so many emotional, physical and psychological extremes that are going into the show, and it requires all of me in a really beautiful way," he told CNN. "I always thought I wouldn't be able to play anything outside the trope line that anyone who is Muslim or Arab can only play roles where they are either the good Muslim who assimilates into the Western world and proves they're one of the good ones, or the terrorist," he said. "There hasn't been room for roles like the complex anti-hero that is so complicated and flawed but also beautiful in their own way. And this role is the perfect opportunity for that."
In the "Grendel" comic books, created by Matt Wagner and published by Dark Horse Comics, Rose takes on the identity of Grendel as he battles New York's criminal underworld. That's still no excuse for his belief system, which neither the actor nor anybody else here seems to find reprehensible. Point: there may be moderate Muslims, but there's no moderate Islam. And since this is Netflix producing the show, that's a leading reason why it's better to avoid the new TV show regardless, seeing how PC much of their output's turned out to be.
"I couldn't be more thrilled about the Grendel saga, one of the longest-running independent comics series, finally being translated into live-action for the screen," Wagner said in a statement. "I'm especially excited to see Abubakr Ali bring the character of Grendel/Hunter Rose to life -- he has the charisma, style and vital edginess that I've been envisioning in the role for years."

Young adult writer creating Jewish comic star draws influence from a propagandist
But what makes Whistle unique is that her origin story is centered around her Jewish identity. Willow Zimmerman is a social justice activist who volunteers at a local pet shelter and lives with her single mother, an adjunct Jewish studies professor, in Down River, a Gotham City neighborhood modeled after the Lower East Side. That means it comes with a long Jewish history, making Judaism canonical in Gotham more than eight decades after Bob Kane and Bill Finger, two Bronx Jews, created the Dark Knight. The part about social justice is already worrisome enough, due to how it's little more than an allusion to blatant leftism. But here's the big eyebrow raiser:
For Whistle herself, Lockhart drew inspiration from a different trailblazer at DC’s rival: Kamala Khan, the Muslim Ms. Marvel introduced in 2013.Well, this is certainly telling. She considers a propaganda vehicle for the Religion of Peace the best place to draw inspiration from? Pretty shameful alright. And the biggest irony?
“I love Ms. Marvel and was definitely inspired by the way [author] G. Willow Wilson engaged with questions of heroism and the superheroic body through the lens of Kamala’s Muslim identity,” Lockhart said. “I thought about it a lot while I was writing Whistle.”
Like Lockhart herself, Willow is secular. Her visit to Gotham’s synagogue is for meditation purposes.Considering where the young-adult writer draws inspiration from, this is almost hilarious, and makes too little sense. She takes "inspiration" from a different book with religious themes for propaganda, yet she herself is secular, and builds her own story that way? In doing so, she makes it sound like she considers her community's founding religion worthless in comparison to what the Muslim Ms. Marvel is built on. And this is why the whole young-adult industry has become such a toxic wasteland. If any novel is sold and marketed along those lines today, that should be reason enough to avoid it. The same goes for any comics/graphic novels marketed the same way. Based on what the above author buys into, that's why her resume is decidedly worth avoiding too.
“I knew I would tell the most truthful and nuanced story if I wrote from my own identity and from the community I’m in,” Lockhart said on her decision not to make the character strictly observant. “My heroine engages with her Jewishness in much the same way that I do.”
And "meditation purposes"? What a joke. It's clear DC's only doing this to virtue-signal, one more reason to stay away from something like this.

What Trump has to say about the Afghanistan disaster, and some RINOs
“Afghanistan is one of the worst things I think I’ve ever seen for our country,” Trump said. “To lose the young people [killed in the bomb blast] is so horrible. It’s a horrible situation.”As noted earlier, I'd heard it mentioned on a Steve Bannon podcast that Bush has now made himself into one of the most reviled figures of US politics, right down there along with Biden, and the failure to have ever combatted Pakistan and Iran's regime back in the day is just one more serious error that was made, despite any suggestions to the contrary. Trump also took issue with senator Mitch McConnell, another would-be conservative who's not doing anything to mend the continuing damage, and the way current Republicans are working is simply uninspiring. This is exactly what's bringing about more disasters down the road.
“What Biden is doing is grossly incompetent,” he added. “It’s a disgrace.”
The 45th president also teed off on former President George W. Bush, who used his remarks on the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on America to take a thinly veiled swipe at Trump and many of Trump’s supporters when Bush claimed they were “children of the same foul spirit” that led the 9/11 hijackers to kill thousands of innocent American citizens.
“Bush was a disaster getting us into the Middle East. He’s the one that got us into the quicksand of the Middle East, and he didn’t win. He didn’t know how to win. I think he goes down as one of the worst presidents in history,” Trump said.
“Bush now goes around lecturing everybody about all sorts of things, and he shouldn’t be lecturing anybody, because he’s the one who got us into the mess of the Middle East,” Trump continued. “In the 20 years since, it’s been obliterated, and it’s probably in worse shape now than it’s ever been because of him.”
The Taliban is using the Afghanistan retreat to validate the Koran
While it should be a no-brainer that the Taliban's victory in Afghanistan has emboldened like-minded (read: "radical") Muslims to no end, few in the West appreciate how this episode — especially America's disastrous retreat — is being used to validate the Koran itself, and thus Muslim zeal and faith in Islam. These include the following verses:
Beginning around August 15, 2021, when the Taliban reconquered Afghanistan, every time I watched an Arabic-language program or sheikh speak, they cited several Koran verses as "proof" that it was only inevitable — only a matter of time — that the U.S. would be humiliated and the Taliban exalted.
O believers! Be mindful of Allah and seek what brings you closer to him and perform jihad in his way, so you may be successful (5:35).That's just some of what they're going by, and it's utterly horrific. As Ibrahim notes:
O believers! March forth [into battle] whether it is easy or difficult for you, and perform jihad with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if only you knew (9:41).
At any rate, the takeaway lesson from Afghanistan for millions of Muslims the world over is that perseverance in jihad and patience pays off — just as the Koran says it will. Put differently, the roles of both the Taliban and the U.S. have now confirmed for Muslims the truths of the Koran — specifically, that perseverance in the jihad always leads to victory over and leaves infidels broken, even if it takes years and decades. And that's because of the west's refusal to deal with the issues seriously, and recognize why such adherence to Islam can't be allowed. One more reason why this is such a horrible moment in history.

What and who led to defeat from a historical perspective in the war against terrorism
Biden is personally responsible for the humanitarian and strategic disaster unfolding before our eyes. He is the only American leader in history who has willfully abandoned Americans and American allies to their fate behind enemy lines. But while Biden is solely responsible for the decision to leave Afghanistan in the manner it is, it isn’t Biden’s fault that after twenty years of war, the Taliban was still around, stronger than it was on September 11, 2001, and fully capable of seizing control of the country. The foundations of that failure were laid in the days, weeks and months that followed the September 11 attacks. The politician responsible for failure in the past was Bush. He caused trouble for Israel, India, and every innocent soul in Europe. All by downplaying the seriousness of the issues, and refusing to focus on all Islamic regimes where al Qaeda/Taliban was a serious threat. A so-called conservative who was no better than his equally awful father was in his time.
In the aftermath of September 11, then president George W. Bush and his national security team put together the guiding assumptions for what came to be known as the global war on terror. In the years since then, some of the assumptions were updated, adapted or replaced as conditions on the ground evolved. But three of the assumptions that stood at the foundation of America’s military, intelligence and diplomatic planning and operations since then were not revisited, save for the final two years of the Trump administration. All three contributed significantly to America’s defeat in Afghanistan and its failure to win the war against global terror as a whole. The first assumption related to Pakistan, the second to Iran, and the third to Israel.
By rights, Pakistan should have been the first domino to fall after the September 11 attacks. The Taliban were the brainchild of Pakistan’s jihad-addled ISI intelligence agency. Al Qaeda operatives also received ISI support. But aside from a few threats and temporary sanctions around the time of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in October 2001, the U.S. took no significant actions against Pakistan. The reason for America’s inaction is easy to understand.
In 1998 Pakistan tested nuclear weapons. By September 11, 2001, Pakistan fielded a significant nuclear arsenal. Following the attacks, Pakistan made clear its view of nuclear war, and the connection between its position and its sponsorship of terror.
In October and December 2001, Kashmiri terrorists sponsored by Pakistan attacked the Jammu and Kashmir parliament and the Indian parliament. When India accused Pakistan of responsibility and threatened reprisals, then Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf placed the Pakistani military on alert. India began deploying troops to the border and Pakistan followed suit.
Rather than side with India, the U.S. pressured Delhi to stand down, which it did in April 2002. In June 2002, Pakistani-backed terrorists carried out suicide bombings against the wives and children of Indian soldiers. The countdown to war began again. In June 2002, again bowing to U.S. pressure, India pledged it would not be the first to introduce nuclear weapons to the conflict. Musharraf refused to follow suit.
Rather than rally behind India, the Bush administration wrested an empty promise from Musharraf that he would stop sponsoring terrorism and then pressured India to stand down again.
The U.S. message was clear. By credibly threatening to use its nuclear weapons, Pakistan deterred the Americans. Less than six months later, North Korea expelled UN inspectors from its nuclear reactor at Yangbyon and cancelled its signature on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Iran escalated its covert nuclear activities at Isfahan and Natanz.
The U.S.’s decision to dodge a confrontation with Pakistan following the Sept. 11 attacks empowered the ISI to rebuild the Taliban and al Qaeda after the U.S. decimated both in its initial offensive. Taliban leaders decamped to Pakistan where they rebuilt their forces and waged a war of attrition against U.S., NATO forces and the Afghan army and government they built. Osama bin Laden was living in what amounted to a Pakistani military base when he was killed by U.S. commandos. That war ended with Biden’s surrender and the Taliban’s recapture of Kabul this month.
And on that note, more recently, during the 9-11 Memorial, Bush practically unmasked and let know where he really stands, as he attacked Americans on a day that's supposed to be committed to unity and not offensive statements:
Many media and political figures expressed outrage online after former President George W. Bush appeared to use his speech commemorating the 20th anniversary of 9/11 to compare January 6 Capitol protesters to the Islamic terrorists who viciously attacked America, killing nearly three thousands innocents and wounding more than double that number. Here's more on Revolver News about this horrific act of his in Shanksville. As noted:
9/11’s Twentieth Anniversary would be a good time to reflect on the bloody failures of the George W. Bush administration. There could be a frank discussion on how Bush took America’s greatest moment of national unity since World War 2, and channeled it into two disastrous overseas wars while greatly empowering intelligence agencies at home. There could be discussion on how, instead of asking Americans to sacrifice, Bush urged them to go shopping and launched a federal spending spree that has never stopped. There could even be a frank discussion on how Bush failed to stop the attacks themselves, which might be related to Bush explicitly running on a pledge to scale back racial profiling in airports. This is also why in the long run, the war in Afghanistan wound up a failure. I'd written in the past about Bush's pretensions, but this is by far one of the most repulsive and divisive things he could ever do. Ashli Babbit's mother had strong words for Bush following this horrific example set. I heard a podcast by Steve Bannon where it's stated that with his reprehensible minimization, Bush has effectively put himself among the ranks of the most disgraced names in US politics.
The worst part of this hijacking of the 9-11 Memorial by establishment figures is that in the future, it could end up discouraging sensible people from attending, if they're worried that traitorous politicians like Bush could make offensive statements like that again. This year's become the most tarnished for the 9-11 Memorial service as a result.
Update: Right Wing Uncut has more.
What comics creators addressed 9-11 this week?
#September11 Never Forget the fallen innocent and our gallant heroes still fighting today from 9/11 related illness. We will forever remember their names and honor their sacrifice. #NeverForget #NeverForget911 pic.twitter.com/BuIRVmbPQc

There's also an illustrator named Dean Haspiel:Drawing I did on my porch on #September11 of my comic book character Ana Ishikawa (aka, Shi). I remember that afternoon waiting, enraged, & feeling helpless to do anything. So many friends & family worked for the #NYPD & #FDNY & we didn't have any word on anyone. #NeverForget pic.twitter.com/Q2dn37Tq1z

There's also Scott Snyder:20-years ago.

Here's a link to a comic I made about my experience on 9/11.https://t.co/mh5TRwB7nN
— Scott Snyder (@Ssnyder1835) September 11, 2021Maybe most surprising was AWA studios' account:
And, there's Mike Deodato:On this day. As a company based in #NYC. We take this time to honor those who fell and the heroes that rose up. #911NeverForget pic.twitter.com/sLGSzv0ePH
— AWA Studios (@AWA_Studios) September 11, 2021
I think Tucci's contribution is by far the best, but that aside, if there's something disappointing about the rest, it's that none of them take a meat-and-potatoes stance, condemning al Qaeda for the tragedy and mass murder they caused, not to mention the aid the jihadists had in Saudi Arabia at the time, and don't even acknowledge the disaster Joe Biden and company caused via their withdrawal from Afghanistan, which was a shocking example of caving to the same horrors, and destroyed hard work built up 2 decades ago. How can you send a message if you don't come up with some kind of a statement or illustration that's damning to the monsters who committed the heinous crime that took place on September 11, 2001? (Also, notice how AWA's main Twitter page says "all the comics fit to print"? That sounds an awful lot like the terrible NY Times.)Never forget. Colors by @jaocanola pic.twitter.com/5k5xyTY48c
— Mike Deodato, Jr. (@mikedeodato) September 11, 2021
In addition to that, the mainstream comics industry itself almost entirely forbids any criticism of Islam, and practically excuses it, nor do they pay any tribute to movements like 9-11 Families for a Safe & Strong America, and the French victims of the jihadists who murdered staff members at Charlie Hebdo. If they're not willing to deal with specific issues like these, is it any wonder justice will never truly be served? For now, I'd say Captain America is one of the biggest victims of this PC mentality, and has been for nearly 2 decades already, seeing how Marvel would rather publish stories depicting average Americans as white supremacists. This is the sad state we've reached over the years, due to a lot of terrible communist-style indoctrination that's going on in many liberal establishments everywhere.
And lest I forget, there were quite a few artists and writers who didn't address the subject at all. That too says quite a bit how far we've fallen.
Update: I've found one more artist who's addressed 9-11: Steve Rude:
And I gotta say, the image of Superman waving a USA flag is certainly impressive, making this one of the best contributions that could be made for the 9-11 Memorial day.To Honor the Heroes of the September 11th Tragedy, a commissioned marker piece of Superman holding up the American Flag. USA Today villified Gold Star families rightfully offended by Biden's ignorance
As NewsBusters reported earlier this week, Gold Star fathers of two of the Marines killing at the Kabul airport during the Afghanistan evacuation spoke out against President Biden in outrage of him disrespecting their sons and looking at his watch during the dignified transfer. Well, on Wednesday, a Biden sycophant at USA Today named Daniel Funke decided he was going to try to drag those grieving families through the mud with a so-called “fact-check” about their story, but he was forced to retract his smear the very next day after it was proven false.More at the site. I hesitate to think what contempt the journalist could have for 9-11 Families, if this is how he treats relatives of army officials who lost their lives as the result of horrific incompetence. This is exactly why the war against Islamic terrorism has been a fiasco in the long run.
[...] His initial designation was that the claims Biden had disrespectfully looked at his watch multiple times were “partly false.” But yet, the next day, USA Today was forced to issue a correction in the face of overwhelming evince they were lying. Of course, they only issued a half-hearted revision, suggesting the claims were “missing context”:
While we're on the topic, UK military veteran Richard Kemp also took issue with Biden, and the disaster he and his staff have caused:
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News on Thursday, former commander of British forces in Afghanistan Colonel Richard Kemp blasted President Biden’s exit from Afghanistan, claiming it was worse than 9/11 and calling it “the greatest victory for jihadists” and “a blow for American prestige” which won’t recover for decades. As has been noted previously by other experts, one of the worst things about this case is that it could lead to more tragedies on US soil, which, come to think of it, is exactly what Antifa and BLM have been doing recently too. Incidentally, Biden even falsely claimed he'd visited the Pittsburgh synagogue that was attacked, but they say he didn't.
Kemp also warned of new threats in the wake of unfolding events there, including another refugee crisis and emboldened adversaries such as Iran, Russia, and China.
The former commander who led British forces in Afghanistan in 2003 and later joined the committee supervising the country’s intelligence services, began by describing the unfolding events in Afghanistan as “the greatest foreign affairs and military catastrophe since the Second World War, without a doubt.”
“If you combine the Vietnam fiasco and Suez [Crisis] for the British, it’s worse than the two of those combined in its magnitude and its implications,” he stated.
Nigel Farage predicts this'll have a very negative effect on UK relations with the US:
The United Kingdom will not follow America into another war so long as President Joe Biden is in power, Brexit leader Nigel Farage has predicted.Of course, let's not forget that the UK hasn't done much back at home to protect their society from Islamofascism, so while it's understandable they'd rather not do business with the US in its current state, it does little to alleviate the horrible situation with Islam in the UK and Europe. For now, what Biden and company did has led to shattered relations with many good people.
Appearing on the American network Newsmax, Mr Farage said that Mr Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan has damaged the special relationship between the UK and the U.S.
“Ever since 1917, when America entered the First World War, for over 100 years, we have been beside each other in virtually every major conflict. We have shed together much blood, spent much treasure in fighting for liberty, democracy, and freedom around the world and thank goodness we have,” he said.
However, Mr Farage declared that trust between the long-time allies has broken down after Mr Biden made the unilateral decision to swiftly pull out of Afghanistan without consulting allies in the UK and refusing to take the phone call from Prime Minister Boris Johnson for forty hours as the Taliban recaptured the country.
“Any new military ventures that America asks us to engage in we simply will not do with this man in charge. Not only is the special relationship between our two countries in tatters, I can’t even see a future for NATO,” the Brexiteer said.

A shocking case of betrayal and abandonment
U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies to grant entry into the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport, a choice that's prompted outrage behind the scenes from lawmakers and military officials. And the US officials actually trust these taqqiya-espousing monsters to allow any safe passage? As noted here:
The move, detailed to POLITICO by three U.S. and congressional officials, was designed to expedite the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from Afghanistan as chaos erupted in Afghanistan’s capital city last week after the Taliban seized control of the country. It also came as the Biden administration has been relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport.
Since the fall of Kabul in mid-August, nearly 100,000 people have been evacuated, most of whom had to pass through the Taliban's many checkpoints. But the decision to provide specific names to the Taliban, which has a history of brutally murdering Afghans who collaborated with the U.S. and other coalition forces during the conflict, has angered lawmakers and military officials.Yet the Biden staff allowed this horrific conduct to happen, and now, it's going to be remembered as one of the worst scars of shame in history.
“Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list,” said one defense official, who like others spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive topic. “It’s just appalling and shocking and makes you feel unclean.”
Now, as though things couldn't get worse, there was a suicide bombing at the airport, costing the lives of at least 13 US soldiers, among many other people:
Twin suicide bombings outside Hamid Karzai International Airport and the Baron Hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan, killed at least 90 people, including 13 U.S. service members, and wounded another 150 people on Thursday, according to reports. Warning: Graphic photos and video below. This is what Biden and his staff have led to in just a short amount of time. Instead of trying to do anything to improve the situation, they make it far worse and barbaric. And what's truly awful is that Biden is unlikely to resign, nor will he take any responsibility for what he enabled. He'd rather blame Donald Trump for everything, which only makes this whole case much more offensive.
Update: Benjamin Netanyahu's sent his condolences to the families of the US victims of Biden's horrible mismanagement.
Update 2: Biden's approval ratings have fallen to another serious low following this latest horror in Afghanistan.
Update 3: Donald Trump and allies have made a very valid point that this whole disaster could've been prevented if the Republicans who threw him under the bus had fought for election integrity in last year's election.
