Now this is definitely horrific what Ahmed is saying, and makes him as bad as Ardian Syaf, who got fired from Marvel 2 years ago for his own anti-semitic, anti-Israeli writings (and inserting subliminal messages into his art). It's very much like a blood libel a Swedish paper wrote against the IDF, and another example of a blood libel carried over from the Muslim world. And what kind of hypocrisy is that to attack Evangelicals when Ahmed's doing just that against Israel? Makes me wonder what he thinks of Gal Gadot too.

Ah, so now he's even siding with Israel-basher Marc Lamont Hill, who doesn't deserve his job at Temple University either, and is attacking Santorum over a thoughtcrime for defending Israel.

All that aside, if this is how Ahmed's going to behave, then C.B. Cebulski and company should be ashamed of themselves for turning a blind eye to his own reprehensible conduct, which, it goes without saying, is insulting to the memory of Stan Lee, the son of Romanian-Jewish immigrants to the US. Indeed, why is Ahmed still employed at Marvel (where he'll be taking over the Muslim Ms. Marvel book from G. Willow Wilson), or any comics company for that matter? Did they just get rid of Syaf because a foreigner was seen as more convenient for distancing themselves from? Well, it's very cheap, and their failure to ensure dismissals of offensive contributors won't be token only speaks volumes.

Besides the horrific conduct of Ahmed, whose novels I won't be buying, there's even some eyebrow-raising information about Sana Amanat's background. For starters, look at this information from Montville Township:

Hamida Mahmood Amanat introduced her daughter, Sana Amanat, and said her daughter spearheaded the effort to empower women and minorities in an industry dominated by men.

Amanat is Marvel Comics’ Director of Content and Character Development, and oversees Marvel’s continued efforts to expand its library of characters across the company’s various platforms across the globe, according to the event’s program booklet.[...]

And according to World Net Daily, in their coverage of a federal investigation of Huma Abedin's family for fraud, it shows that the Amanats are related to the Abedins:

Abedin’s relatives were major donors to the Clinton Foundation. And Abedin drew a salary from the Clinton Foundation, while at the same time working for the government.

Records show that her first cousin, Omar Amanat, is under federal indictment for cheating investors in Kit Digital Inc. of millions of dollars between 2009 and 2012, forcing the tech start-up to go bankrupt in 2013. He has been placed under house arrest as he awaits trial, which is scheduled for Oct. 2. [...]

In fact, Omar Amanat’s parents, Sharif and Hamida Amanat, once hosted Huma Abedin’s parents, Syed and Saleha Abedin, at their New Jersey home when Huma’s ailing father had to move back temporarily from Saudi Arabia to undergo a kidney transplant. The Amanats helped the couple continue publishing their Saudi-based journal promoting Shariah law from the U.S. In fact, Omar’s mother, Hamida Amanat, has contributed articles to the journal.

“Dr. Sharif Amanat and his precious wife Hamida created an environment so congenial and supportive that without it it would have been impossible to function effectively,” a recovering Syed Abedin wrote in a 1991 issue of his “Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs Journal.” “I have no words to thank them.”

Now this is certainly eyebrow-raising. So the parents of Sana Amanat are more or less related to the Abedins. Which suggests we have quite a propaganda movement here making inroads into political and entertainment mediums, denigrating products they didn't create, and pushing their vicious leftist propaganda into all these items at a whim. These, tragically, are the kind of people we have running the store today at Marvel, and don't be shocked if any contributors to DC now aren't far behind.

Above all, Marvel, DC and other publishers shouldn't be employing these kind of disrespectful propagandists who have no gratitude for the Jewish founders and beginners of the medium like Lee, Kirby, Siegel, Shuster and others. But tragically, it's clear for now they have no intention of letting them go or distancing themselves from such reprehensible writers and executives, and that's why it'll only precipitate the demise of the Big Two for starters.

Israel will have to invade Iran in order to put an end to their tyranny

There's statements being made now that Israel will have to do what it takes to really defeat Iran's autocracy:

Israel needs to prepare for the possibility that its battle to keep Iran from entrenching itself militarily in Syria may have to be expanded to Lebanon or to Iran directly.

That is one of the recommendations that appeared in the Institute for National Security Studies Strategic Assessment for Israel 2018-2019, which was released and rolled out by the Tel Aviv-based think tank at a ceremony at the President’s Residence on Wednesday.

“Israel maintains a very strong basic deterrent against security challenges that are below the threshold of war,” according to the report. “At the same time, most of the fronts facing Israel are very volatile: Syria, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. In all three, despite the existence of mutual deterrence between the sides, there is a potential for escalation toward a broad confrontation and a general war, more than one front at a time.”

According to the report, the most serious threat facing Israel in 2019 would be an all-out war in the north – the First Northern War – that would include Iran, Hezbollah and Syria. Such a confrontation would also likely spill over to the south, and Israel would additionally find itself battling terrorist organizations from the Gaza Strip.

This “whole case” scenario, according to the report, “is a possibility that Israel must be prepared for.”

That “whole case” scenario is also the worst-case scenario.

Given they've got such a huge a nuclear arsenal, that's the biggest reason now why they have to be invaded in order to put an end to their regime and dictatorship. So the government/military had better start making serious decisions, because there is serious danger out there, and it's time to put an end to it.

Jewish-American survivor of 9-11 was murdered in Kenya terrorist attack

A horrible tragedy took place in Kenya, as a Jewish-American who'd survived al Qaeda's jihadist attack on the WTC in 2001 was among several murdered in another Islamic jihad attack at a hotel (via The Algemeiner):

An American Jewish consultant and at least 13 other people were killed when terrorists stormed a luxury hotel complex in Nairobi on Tuesday.

The U.S. State Department confirmed the death of Jason Spindler, who was at a business meeting in the offices of I-Dev International, his investment consulting firm, when he was fatally shot. Eleven Kenyans and one British citizen were also reported as among those killed.

The Jewish community in Nairobi is assisting the Spindler family in the repatriation of Spindler’s body back to the United States.

The Somali Islamic jihadist organization Al-Shabab, reportedly linked to Al-Qaeda, has taken responsibility for the attack, which took place at the Dusit D2 hotel complex just after 3 p.m. The terrorists detonated a bomb in the parking lot and then a suicide bomber exploded in the lobby.

World Israel News says:

The Somali Islamist terror group that carried out Tuesday’s attack on a hotel complex in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi has issued a fresh statement declaring that the atrocity was directed against “Zionist Jews.”

The assault claimed the lives of 14 people, including U.S. citizen Jason Spindler — a survivor of the Sept. 11, 2001 Al-Qaeda atrocity in New York.

On Tuesday night, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta announced that security forces had regained control of the complex, with all the terrorists “eliminated” in the process.

Wednesday’s statement from the Somalia-based Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen (more commonly known as “Al-Shabaab”), an affiliate of Al-Qaeda, stated that it had carried out the Nairobi attack as “a response to the witless remarks of U.S. President Donald Trump and his declaration of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Israel.”

The statement accused Trump of having granted “the Zionist Jews the approval to desecrate the sanctity of one of Islam’s holiest sites with their filth and vile policies of ethnic cleansing without considering the suffering of the millions of Muslims languishing under the throes of the Zionist occupation for decades.”

Headlined “Jerusalem Will Never Be Judaized,” the statement was published on Al-Shabaab’s channel on the social media platform Telegram, and subsequently translated by the Washington, D.C.-based Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). Al-Shabaab claimed to have killed more than 50 “unbelievers” in Nairobi, adding that the attack was carried out “in accordance with the guidelines of Ayman al-Zawahiri in targeting Western and Zionist interests worldwide and in support of our Muslim families in Palestine.”

So here again we have a terrorist cell committing attacks built on lies, and blaming Jews even for their actions even against non-Jews. Such monsters cannot be awarded, and must be hunted down, and barred from every practicing Islam again.

Oklahoma jihadist will be given death sentence

The Federalist reports that the ISIS sympathizer who violently decapitated a mother working at a food processing factory in Moore, Oklahoma, will finally be put to death for his crime:

This fall, the U.S. Supreme Court essentially cemented the execution of America’s least known Islamic terrorist. Jihadist convert Alton Nolen is now set to be put to death in Oklahoma, likely by nitrogen gas inhalation.

The Supreme Court’s October 1, 2018 rejection of Nolen’s final death penalty appeal went unremarked upon by news media so, partly as a result, I missed it. But the Nolen case is very much worth remembering, along with all terror attacks that occur on U.S. soil, if not just for the victims and their survivors but for lessons that can and must be learned.

The September 24, 2014 attack in Oklahoma is somewhat notable in the annals of many officially uncalled terrorist strikes in that Nolen emulated a favorite ISIS death tactic no doubt learned online: he fully beheaded a co-worker—the beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Colleen Hufford—inside the Moore, Oklahoma food processing plant where they both worked. Shouting “Alluah Akbar” throughout the attack, Nolen used the same oversized butcher knife on the neck of a second co-worker, Tracy Johnson, when the company’s chief operations officer, a reserve law enforcement officer named Mark Vaughn, burst in with an AR-15 rifle. He shot and wounded Nolen as Nolen disengaged from his second victim and charged at him with the bloody knife.

Such an attack must generate a particular horror in its witnesses and, when Nolen is finally put to death, one should keep in mind what Hufford must have experienced in her last moments.

Nolen fully deserves to be executed for what he did to that poor woman. And it's shameful that the Obama administration refused to call the tragedy what it was - a terrorist attack. Similarly, it's shameful the press all but ignored the latest developments, in their effort to avoid serious issues. The Trump administration would do well to hold a memorial for the victim, to show that these innocents will not be forgotten after the terrible incidents that took place.

5 leaders of Lev Tahor arrested by Interpol

This was a long time coming, and finally, authorities have done what's required in order to put a stop to the Islamized Haredi cult - collar the leaders in order to cripple the cult and bring them to heel:

Five leaders of Lev Tahor, a fringe Haredi Orthodox sect, were arrested in Mexico.

Their arrest was a joint operation between Interpol and the FBI, Yeshiva World News reported on Wednesday. The group has faced allegations of kidnapping, sexual abuse and child abuse.

Among those arrested are Nachman Helbrans, the son of former sect leader Shlomo Helbrans, who drowned in Mexico in 2017. Nachman Helbrans, who now leads Lev Tahor, is reported to be even more radical and aggressive than his father, according to YWN.

The group was accused last week of kidnapping two children, who the New York Post on Wednesday reported were the children of the founder’s daughter, Sara Helbrans. The children were attending a therapeutic event with other escapees from the sect.

Sara Helbrans fled the sect on October 5 with three of her six children. The three others were discovered and returned to her 10 days later, and her husband detained.

On Saturday, December 8, her two teenage children, Yante and Chaim, who remain loyal to the sect, disappeared from the event in the Catskills.

Helbrans had earlier filed suit in Brooklyn Family Court seeking custody of her children and protection from her husband.

“I am very imminently afraid from the cult and what the [children’s] father and other cult members may do now that we are no longer under their power and manipulation,” she wrote in the filing to the court, according to the New York Post.

We must hope the authorities can find them. As for Helbrans and the remaining overlords, they must be held in custody and no longer allowed to run their monstrous operation. Above all, they should be prosecuted and imprisoned for long terms to ensure their evil is totally defeated. This case must serve as a vital lesson why we have to watch out for these repellent, insular cults that wind up abusing their subjects in the worst ways possible.

There will be new Israeli elections in April

It looks like the government's decided the coalition's too narrow to work properly, and based on this, they decided to dissolve and go to elections a few months early:

Coalition leaders voted unanimously Monday afternoon to dissolve the Knesset and go to early elections this coming spring, a Likud spokesperson said.

During a meeting Monday afternoon in the Prime Minister’s Office, leaders of the coalition’s five factions agreed that the current narrow government is untenable, and that the 20th Knesset must be dissolved early and new elections held.

The faction leaders voted unanimously for early elections, which will be held on April 9th, 2019.

“In the name of budgetary and national responsibility, party leaders in the coalition agreed unanimously to dissolve the Knesset and go to new elections at the beginning of April, following a full four-year term,” the spokesperson announced.

The elections for the 21st Knesset will be held just over four years after the previous vote, which was held on March 17th, 2015.

Prior to the coalition’s decision Monday, the next Knesset election had been scheduled for November 5th, 2019.

So it'll be about 4 years of a coalition in the making. Let's hope they know what it takes to convince voters to support their platforms in the next 4 months.

G. Willow Wilson leaves the Muslim Ms. Marvel, and hands it to another propagandist, Saladin Ahmed

So now, one of the most contemptuous SJWs Marvel and DC alike could ever have possibly hired is leaving the low-selling propaganda vehicle misusing the original codename of Carol Danvers, and giving the reins to a fellow propagandist, author Saladin Ahmed:

After five years, G. Willow Wilson will leave Marvel Entertainment’s Ms. Marvel, with the publisher revealing that the series will end when Wilson, who co-created the character in 2014, leaves, ahead of a relaunch with a new creative team later in 2019. [...]

The Ms. Marvel series ends with Wilson’s final issue, only to be relaunched as The Magnificent Ms. Marvel, a new series by Saladin Ahmed and Minkyu Jung in March. Wilson is currently working on DC Entertainment’s Wonder Woman and has a new series for Dark Horse's Berger Books imprint, Invisible Kingdom, on tap for 2019; in a tweet listing future 2019 work, she also mentioned her upcoming novel, The Bird King.

No surprise they'd be so gushy with a new adjective title. That Karen Berger, who founded the imprint, willing to associate with people like her has made me lose respect for DC's former Vertigo editor. Entertainment Weekly also said:

Though a novelist by trade, Ahmed recently broke into writing comics with an excellent Black Bolt miniseries (illustrated with cosmic flair by Christian Ward) and has followed that up with several others, such as Exiles, which features a team of time-traveling superheroes — including a much older, bitter version of Ms. Marvel simply named Khan. But Ahmed says he’s particularly excited to now be writing the real Kamala.

“I think she’s really the face of everything that’s new and fresh and exciting and ‘21st century’ at Marvel, and with superheroes in general. To be given stewardship of that is a big deal to me,” Ahmed tells EW. “It’s always thrilling being given responsibility over a beloved character. It’s particularly meaningful for me to be taking over from Willow. She’s an incredible writer, and she’s a friend. I’ve only been in comics for a couple years, I come from fiction and poetry and stuff like that, and Willow has been one of the folks who’s helped me figure out this whole craft and business. She’s my sister, and it’s very cool to be taking the baton from her. There’s something meaningful there.”

Oh, sure there's something meaningful. A partnership between propagandists, is what. It figures a so-called novelist who played victimology cards while insulting Spider-Fans would be seen as the ideal choice to take Wilson's place, in another relaunch, now long a common practice in this day and age for the sake of short-term sales boosts.

And as sales receipts for the now concluding volume of the Muslim Ms. Marvel have proven (they were at little more than 13,000, last time I looked), it's nothing more than a lot of stale bread, and it's clear not even the social justice advocates they covet for an audience care about their dismal dreck. What's clear is that this is precisely what's bringing down Marvel, by shoving characters heavily built on ideology down the readers' throats. If they won't move away from the "project" and the propagandists they hired, it'll only continue to damage their reputation, sticking out like the sore thumb of propaganda it really is.

The dangers of no-go zones in the west

Bush Senior was bad for Israel

Former US president George H.W. Bush died this past week, and predictably, there was a lot of whitewashing of his exact records on foreign policy, which includes his atrocious conduct towards Israel, as well as that of his son, Dubya:

“Go to hell.” That’s what George W. answered a reporter, when questioned about what he planned to tell the Israelis, as he was about to leave on his 1998 Middle East trip. Was he joking? Let’s remember, George W. previously had said in 1993, “heaven is open only to those who accept Jesus Christ,” while discussing his decision to become “born again,” as reported in the Houston Post at the time.

And let’s not forget his heavy campaigning in Michigan (home of the largest Arab-American community) before the 2000 election, his family’s oil interests, and deep ties with the Arab community in America and the Middle East. Then, there was George W’s open support for a Palestinian state during his presidency, the first American president to come out of the closet on the issue.

As the saying goes, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”

So, after a cursory look at George W. Bush’s attitudes to Jews, and Israel, let’s look at his recently deceased father, George H.W. Bush, his friends and family.

Well, for starters, there’s the company H.W. kept, for example James Baker who said, “F*** the Jews, they didn’t vote for us anyways.” James Baker was George H.W. Bush’s Secretary of State.

Why didn’t H.W. criticize Baker’s statement?

And H.W. let Baker publicly berate Israeli PM Yitzhak Shamir, “When you’re serious about peace, call us,” giving the number for the White House switchboard. Later, as a friend of the family, he acted as a political advisor to Jeb Bush, when he ran for governor in Florida.

George H.W. Bush will go down in Jewish History as the American president who forced Israel into a subservient position and endangered millions of Jews.

During the 1991 Gulf War, Shamir wanted the communication codes, so that Israeli pilots could contact their American counterparts, and avoid a friendly fire scenario. Bush refused, forcing Shamir’s hand, not to respond to Saddam Hussein’s scud missile fire on Israel. Bush sent patriot missiles, and insisted that Israel let America take care of it. That may be the main turning point, in the Israeli mentality, from “we fight our own wars,” to a growing sense of dependence on Uncle Sam.

Bush Sr. damaged morale by acting as though literally nobody should even think about offering altruistic aid to the USA, as though the country could literally handle everything unquestioned, and may have even damaged the USA's ability to manage some subjects properly too.

As the late Rabbi Meir Kahane quipped, “Once we were people who had faith in the burning bush, and now we depend upon George Bush?”

H.W. also pushed off an Israeli $10 billion aid request for loan guarantees, to help settle the million plus Soviet Jewish refugees flooding Israel, after the fall of the Iron Curtain. He insisted Israel stop building “settlements,” and extorted from Shamir, an agreement that Israel would participate in the 1991 Madrid “peace” Conference. Which led to the Oslo Process, the Palestinian Authority, Arafat’s return, and the Death Machine, Israelis suffer with today. After a more cooperative prime minister was elected in Israel in 1992, Yitzhak Rabin, the loan guarantees went through.

Now that too was all an utter abomination, and brought us down very low as a result.

There's also Prescott Bush's historical record to consider, which isn't all that different from Henry Ford's:

But the George HW’s apple didn’t fall far either…

The accusations against HW’s father, Sen. Prescott Bush, go well beyond dislike for Jews and discriminatory practices that were typical of New England WASP culture back then. It seems his father was involved with Hitler’s financiers in the later 1920s and 1930s.

Prescott Bush was co-founder and a director of at a New York bank, Union Banking Corp. (UBC), where German businessmen who supported the Nazis, stashed away millions. According to documents from the US National Archives made public in 2003, Bush was still a director at the bank, when its assets were frozen under the Trading With the Enemy Act in 1942.

It seems, the UBC was not so much a “bank” at all, but a “clearing house” for the many assets and enterprises, of German industrialist Fritz Thyssen, who later admitted to his role, in helping to finance the Third Reich.

The documents also reveal that Prescott Bush worked for, and was later a partner in, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH). By the late 1930s, both BBH, which claimed to be the world's largest private investment bank, and UBC, had bought and shipped millions of dollars of gold, fuel, steel, coal and US treasury bonds to Nazi Germany, feeding and financing Hitler’s military build-up.

Yep, the Bush family's got quite a history alright. One that serves as an embarrassment to conservatives everywhere, though you could argue Bush Sr. was by no means a real conservative, but rather, an interloper.

This is why I can't feel sorry Bush Sr's no longer here, as he may have hurt the USA just as much as Israel back in the early 90s. There's certainly a reason why he only served one term, and it's a shame Clinton had to be the one to succeed him, as he made things much worse.

Even today, Frank Miller's Holy Terror is still victim of censorship

Andrew Harrod at the American Spectator (via Middle East Forum) has given an alert that Miller's notable 2011 graphic novel, Holy Terror, originally planned as a Batman tale before DC under Paul Levitz rejected it, has been shunned at a Texas library because the Council of American Islamic Relations called for it:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Dallas-Fort Worth chapter (CAIR-DFW) recently “applauded a decision by the Plano Library to resolve an issue related to anti-Muslim material in its catalog.” CAIR claims to have convinced this Texas library to remove the book Holy Terror by renowned graphic-novel author Frank Miller, a disturbing act of censorship and a flagrant violation of longstanding library standards.

This author asked the Plano Library Director Libby Holtmann about the book’s removal. She stated that the library “did not remove the subject item from its collection from a request by anyone including CAIRDFW,” but rather “was alerted by a comment sent through social media.” Examination of Holy Terror revealed “that it did not have any professional reviews,” which she claimed is a “necessary component for maintaining an item.” She also cited library records showing little reader interest in Holy Terror.

In fact, dozens of reviews of the comic book have been published, including by prominent newspapers and peer-reviewed journals. Plano library’s dubious response leaves several troubling questions. What was this social media comment that led to an immediate “evaluation” of Holy Terror? Why does Plano Library appear to be kowtowing to CAIR? Does the very controversy itself surrounding Holy Terror raised by groups such as CAIR not justify keeping a copy for the sake of healthy public debate?

CAIR’s opposition to Holy Terror, a story of comic superheroes battling Al Qaeda in New York City, goes back to when it first appeared in 2011. CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad had condemned Holy Terror as a “shameful” example of how “Islamophobia is becoming mainstream.” That same year, journalist Spencer Ackerman wrote that “Holy Terror is a screed against Islam.”

Accordingly, CAIR-DFW Executive Director John Janney asked the Plano library about “standards, policies or code of ethics that the publicly funded library followed when faced with publications that dehumanize or marginalize minorities.” This applied, he claimed, “especially when those publications are targeted at children” (which the adult graphic novel Holy Terror is in fact not). Although paying lip service to First-Amendment free speech guarantees, CAIR-DFW’s argued that “imposing hate literature on a captive audience of children is not appropriate” for a library’s mass holdings.

Well this does tell something besides the sad fact CAIR, which was founded by Hamas sympathisers, is still active: they have a backwards view of the comics medium itself, taking the antiquated vision that it's only for children.

CAIR-DFW also claimed that Miller had in 2018 “expressed regret for the book” — implying that Miller would support the censorship of Holy Terror. Yet he actually stated, in a Guardian interview, that he did not “want to go back and start erasing books I did.” Importantly, he described Holy Terror in a 2011 interview as a specific “screed against Al Qaeda,” not Islam. “The issue here is a method of killing. It’s not a religion,” he explained. “I can tell you squat about Islam,” but “I know a goddamn lot about Al Qaeda and I want them all to burn in Hell.”

Ironically, CAIR-DFW’s announcement appeared during the annual Banned Books Week of the American Library Association (ALA), the “oldest and largest library association in the world,” founded in 1876. During Banned Book Week, ALA promotes a “Stand for the Banned Read-Out” for people to “declare your literary freedoms by reading from a banned book or discussing censorship issues on camera.” Since the Week’s 1982 beginnings, “libraries and bookstores throughout the country have staged local read-outs, continuous readings of banned and challenged books.”

What the Plano library did was a slap in the face to anybody opposed to book censorship. But most curious is where the CBLDF stands in all this? Unsurprisingly, this hasn't been in the mainstream comics press from what I can tell, proving where they actually stood all these years, and if the CBLDF won't give Miller any backing in this case, then they've rendered their mission meaningless.

I think it's a shame Miller reverted back to leftism, if he supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections. Though this current case can demonstrate the unforgiving positions of social justice advocates - he dared do something the late Will Eisner also did with his last graphic novel, The Plot, and for this, the SJW leftists shunned Miller for all eternity by not coming to defense of his work.

Angela Merkel sought to prevent Romania from moving embassy to Jerusalem

Germany's premier just demonstrated why the country still has a serious antisemitism problem:

In an effort to stop Romania’s government from relocating its embassy to Jerusalem, German chancellor Angela Merkel called Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis in April, urging him to stop Bucharest’s declared announcement to move its diplomatic building to Israel’s capital.

A Western source told The Jerusalem Post that Merkel lobbied the Romanian president to put a halt on the relocation of its embassy to Jerusalem. It is believed that Merkel called other European politicians as part of a campaign to block the relocation of European embassies to Jerusalem.

The president of Romania’s Chamber of Deputies and a member of Romania’s governing party, the social democratic politician Liviu Dragnea, told the television station Antena 3 in April that the “government adopted a memorandum deciding to start the procedure to effectively move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.”

The dramatic and apparent anti-Israel intervention by Merkel, who proclaimed in a Knesset speech in 2008 that Israel’s security interests are “non-negotiable” and part of Germany’s raison d’être, was not denied by the governments of Romania and the Federal Republic. [...]

In addition to waging an ostensible campaign to stop the relocation of European embassies to Jerusalem, Merkel rebuffed President Reuven Rivlin’s request last month during her visit to Jerusalem to join US sanctions against Iran’s regime. The US state department considers the Iranian regime to be the top international state-sponsor of terrorism.

This is most revealing about where Merkel really stands, and if she's on her way out after years of ultimately proving an unreliable leader for Germany as well, as they now have only so many Muslim migrants running rampant. Her refusal to visit Jerusalem at Rivlin's request only furthers the perception she doesn't recognize the capitol, nor the threats imposed by Iran.

And that's one more reason she stands to be remembered very negatively in history.

The AirBNB company turns anti-Israel

Looks like there's another company giving themselves a bad image by joining the BDS insanity:

On Monday, AirBNB, the home-rental company that is often used by tourists to rent apartments in locations around the globe, announced that it would not allow Jewish settlements to be listed in Judea and Samaria. AirBNB stated:

We concluded that we should remove listings in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank that are at the core of the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians.

This is the sheerest form of corporate anti-Semitism in recent memory. Not only did AirBNB specifically target “Israeli settlements,” according to Professor Eugene Kontorovich of George Mason Law, they’ve announced that they will only disallow listings in Israeli settlements when those listings are owned by Jews. In other words, if a Jew owns an apartment in East Jerusalem, that won’t be allowed for listing; if an Arab owns an apartment in the same neighborhood, it’s fine for listing.

Well now everyone concerned can withdraw investments in the company and certainly not use it for research. How many of these businesses are giving such awful impressions of themselves now, I have no idea, but they should by all means be avoided.

Update: Knesset member Michael Oren's called for boycotting AirBNB in response, and this article notes:

Oren said on Monday that no one should use the low-cost service, because its policy is “the very definition of anti-Semitism.”

Hmm, good that they remind us this is a business situated in increasingly leftist California, and in SF, which is one of the worst places where leftism spawns in the same state. This could explain a thing or two about them.

Likewise, Israeli Tourism Minister Yariv Levin demanded the management of the Airbnb site cancel the move.

“This is a miserable decision and a disgraceful surrender by the company,” Levin said. He has ordered ministry staff to implement measures to restrict the activity of Airbnb throughout Israel, while encouraging tourism and hospitality throughout Judea and Samaria.

Strategic Affairs and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan called the move a “submission to the anti-Semitic BDS organizations… a choice to take a racist political stance against some of Israel’s citizens.”

It's very sick what the company's doing, and they shouldn't even be doing business in Israel if that's how they're going to manage themselves.

A pop star makes the right decision to leave Islam

A British born pop singer who was a Muslim adherent has wisely left the practice:

Former One Direction member and pop superstar Zayn Malik revealed he is no longer a practicing Muslim, principally because he does not believe in the teachings of Islamic theology.

The pop superstar was raised in a Muslim family of both Pakistani and Irish descent in the British town of Bradford, and as a young boy studied the Qu’ran and attended mosque. However, the 25-year-old admitted he no longer follows the religion, and instead prioritizes simply being a “good person.”

“I don’t believe you need to eat a certain meat that’s been prayed over a certain way,” Malik said in an interview with Vogue magazine. “I don’t believe you need to read a prayer in a certain language five times a day. I don’t believe any of it. I just believe if you’re a good person, everything is going to go right for you.”

That's an interesting way of putting things. Well, he's doing the right thing to distance himself from Islam, and that too helps make him a good person. Congratulations to Mr. Malik for his courage.

Brazil's new president will move embassy to Jerusalem

Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil's new president is thankfully friendly to Israel, and he's even willing to move the country's embassy to Jerusalem:

Until a few weeks ago, Jair Bolsonaro, now the president-elect of Brazil, was a little-known legislator. No one thought he would go on to become the leader of the country.

But on Wednesday, a week after he astonished everyone by winning the presidential election in Brazil – the largest democracy in Latin America – Bolsonaro chose Israel Hayom for what appears to be his first interview with the foreign media, and made it clear that his support for Israel and promises about Jerusalem were not just an election gimmick.

In a tweet on Thursday, Bolsonaro reiterated his position that he saw no problem in possibly moving the Brazilian Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a platform he had promoted during his campaign.

"I plan to move the embassy to Jerusalem," the unequivocal tweet stated.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the sentiment from "my friend the President-elect of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, for his intention to transfer the Brazilian Embassy to Jerusalem. This is a historic, correct and thrilling step."

One that he'll hopefully follow through with. Bolsonaro's doing the right thing, and this'll serve to eventually encourage other countries to follow suit more clearly.

Antisemitism cannot be politicized

Shmuley Boteach addressed the tragedy at the Conservative-leaning synagogue in Pittsburgh, and the left's efforts to exploit it, milking it for all it's worth as a means to attack Donald Trump:

This past Saturday, the Jewish day of rest, a middle-aged man burst into a baby-naming service at a Pittsburgh synagogue. What followed was the deadliest antisemitic attack in American history. Eleven men and women, who had come only to celebrate and to pray, were gunned down, their blood pooling around their scattered prayer books.

A heroic team of local police officers charged the shul under heavy fire. Though many sustained severe wounds, the massacre was finally brought to an end. The gunman was captured and should, in my opinion, face the death penalty.

In the days since the attack, President Donald Trump has unequivocally condemned the slaughter as an “antisemitic act of pure evil.” The president declared “the widespread persecution of Jews” to be “one of the ugliest and darkest features of human history,” and one that he vowed to fight. “It will take all of us working together to extract the poison of antisemitism from our world,” the president went on, asking Americans to “unite to conquer hate.”

The shooter, 46-year-old Robert Bowers, announced his arrival at the synagogue by screaming “all Jews must die.” He allegedly later told police officers that Jews were committing “genocide against his people.” Pretty ironic, that. A racist Jew-hater claiming the Jews are guilty of genocide just one week before the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht.

While the monster could be an Aryan nationalist, it's also possible he's a Muslim convert who sides with the "palestine" propaganda, and his drivel stemmed from the ideologies he embraces. That's something we'll all have to ponder, unless further investigation proves he's not.

On social media, Bowers had frequently attacked not only Jews but Trump for his closeness to Jews, to whom he referred in the most grotesque terms. “Trump is surrounded by k****,” the rancid killer lamented, “there is no #MAGA as long as there is a k*** infestation.”

DESPITE THESE facts, however, many people have come close to blaming Trump for the shooting.

Joe Biden, widely expected to run for the presidency in 2020, seemed to do so when he tweeted, apparently to the president, that “words matter” and “silence is complicity.”

Famed economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman suggested that Trump was to blame, at least in part. Speaking sarcastically, Krugman tweeted a link to the story with the caption, “but none of the white supremacist terrorism has anything to do with Trump, oh no.”

The Washington Post, also, featured an op-ed on its home page titled “How Culpable is Trump for the Shooting.” The author of that piece, GQ’s Julia Ioffe, tweeted “a word to [her] fellow American Jews: This president makes this possible. Here. Where you live. I hope the embassy move over there, where you don’t live was worth it.”

To politicize the murder of 11 Jews – let alone the worst antisemitic attack on American soil in our nation’s history – is lamentable.

Yet this has practically become the norm for years, perpetrated by freaks whose altruism is questionable at worst. It would be highly preferable the leftists - and even pseudo-rightists - keep their mouths shut if they can't do it without politicizing the whole issue.

While we're on the subject, I thought it was also concerning that the Haredi press in Israel is also politicizing the tragedy in their own way, by trying to avoid calling Tree of Life a synagogue, all because they so dislike the Conservative faith and don't want to accept it as a sect:

Israel’s haredi press covered the Sabbath attack on Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue in full Sunday morning, but as has become the norm the online haredi media reported uncomfortable facts and notions without blinking whereas the daily newspapers, which are controlled for content by rabbinical committees, used their traditional euphemisms.

The troubling matter in question: non-Orthodox synagogues and Jews.

Almost all the leading haredi daily newspapers led their Sunday editions with the news, but neglected to use the word synagogue to describe the building where the Conservative congregation which was attacked prays.

The widest circulation haredi daily Yated Neeman of the non-hassidic “Lithuanian” community led its newspaper with the story, with its headline reading “Neo-Nazi terror attack in Jewish center,” but did not mention that the Tree of Life community is progressive or use the word synagogue.

Even if their omission of the word synagogue is not the foremost important matter here, it's still troubling they'd do such a thing because they don't like non-Orthodox congregations. They should consider apologizing and admitting they're letting ideology get in the way of a clear understanding.

Then, Caroline Glick rightly condemns leftist Jews who attack Trump at a time like this, making a point that they're dishonoring the victims as a result:

Breitbart News’s Caroline Glick said left-wing Jews blaming President Donald Trump for inciting Saturday’s mass murder at a Pittsburgh synagogue are “dishonoring the dead” and “dishonoring the cause of fighting anti-Semitism.” She offered her remarks in a Monday interview with Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily.

Glick said, “It would’ve been good if the Jewish community in the United States and the national leadership, instead of pronouncing these milquetoast things that we all need to be more civil in our tone, would say, ‘No, we have to be less civil to anti-Semites. We have to be less civil to people who want to annihilate the Jewish people [and] the Jewish state.'”

Glick added, “But what we’re finding, particularly among left-wing Jews is that they’re using it to attack the administration and trying to conflate the Nazi who committed this massacre with President Trump. Obviously, nothing could be further from the truth.” [...]

Glick noted how various news media outlets framed a left-wing and partisan Democrat organization as a “Jewish group.”

Glick said, “[They are] pretending that it’s a mainstream Jewish organization and getting a bunch of people who side with their hatred of president Trump to sign a petition telling him that he’s not allowed to come to Pittsburgh to mourn the deaths of the victims of Saturday’s atrocity.”

Glick continued, “This is pure prostitution. This is people who are not honoring the dead. They’re dishonoring the dead and they’re dishonoring the cause of fighting anti-Semitism in the United States and elsewhere when they turn it into a means to try to batter a president who has been extraordinary both to the Jewish state of Israel and the Jewish people more generally in his regard and esteem for them.”

Glick went on, “It’s really horrible and it sets back any attempt to fight anti-Semitism when you hide who the perpetrators are and you instead blame people who are blameless for the atrocity.”

Glick noted the prevalence of anti-Zionism on the left and within the Democrat Party. Marlow said, “[There is] a mainstreaming of anti-Zionism in the Democratic Party.”

So what good does it do to protest anti-semitism when it's clear these disgraceful representatives aren't really worried at all, and only use it as an excuse to bash right-wing politicians? Those leftist community leaders committing exploitation of tragedies owe an apology for watering down the subjects for the sake of their personal politics. It's awful the gunman was able to strike, and it's also awful the leftists are using these tragedies to fuel their agendas lacking altruism.

The al-Durah libel in retrospect

Richard Landes wrote on Tablet about one of the most notorious cases of anti-semitic, anti-Israeli blood libels ever concocted by a European "journalist", in this case being the French-Israeli news producer Charles Enderlin, who, as noted here, had already made up his mind where he stood:

At one point in our viewing, a very large man grabbed his leg and began to limp badly. Perhaps he had not faked his injury convincingly enough, perhaps his size discouraged anyone from picking him up. In any case, only children gathered around, whom he shooed away, and, after looking to see no one was coming, he walked away without a limp.

The Israeli France2 cameraman snorted.

“Why do you laugh?” I asked.

“It’s so obviously fake,” he responded.

“I know,” I said, turning to Enderlin, “this all seems fake.”

“Oh, they do that all the time. It’s a cultural thing” The senior correspondent replied.

“So why couldn’t they have faked it with al Durah?”

“They’re not good enough,” said Enderlin. “They can’t fool me.”

The other shoe had dropped. In earlier sessions with Nahum Shahaf, the first (“semi-official”) Israeli investigator of the al Durah affair, hired by IDF southern commander, Yom Tov Samia, I had seen over two hours of video from that day. This footage, shot by a Palestinian cameraman working for Reuters, had familiarized me with the Palestinian practice of staging scenes, whose basic sequence ran: Fake a dramatic injury, have people gather around you, pick you up (often brutally, without stretchers) and rush you to an ambulance, helpers eagerly grabbing the injured on the run, in order to get on camera. Those carrying the wounded, then throw him in the back of the ambulance, slam shut the doors, and the driver takes off, sirens blaring. That evening, you all go home and see how many times you made the news.

I already knew that Palestinians faked footage, but what I now understood was that the mainstream news media, whose first imperative was to filter out such blatant propaganda, had accepted it as a normal practice, and used the fakes to tell the “real” story. Professional standards for journalists in the West can make even staging B-roll problematic. But apparently, in the Middle East, Western journalists have few problems with staged A-roll as long as they can cut it into believable site-bytes of Israeli aggression and Palestinian victimhood. Veteran 60 Minutes correspondent Bob Simon would later describe Netzarim Junction as the focal point of the new Arab-Israeli war, one in which “more than 30 were killed and hundreds injured.” [...]

This episode in 2003 with Enderlin was the first time that I got the response of a Western journalist to the rather obvious fakery and it amounted to: “But they do it all the time.”

A few months later, when the same footage was viewed in Paris with three “independent” journalists from the French MSNM, they too remarked on the extensive staging and they got a similar response: “Yes Monsieur, but, you know, it’s always like that,” said Didier Eppelbaum, Enderlin’s boss. To which one of the journalists, maintaining his commitment to integrity (but not for long), responded indignantly, “You may know that, but the public doesn’t.” Indeed, while both Enderlin and his boss will admit, behind what they think are closed doors, to this highly unprofessional behavior done “all the time,” on record, they state precisely the opposite. “Talal abu Rahma, Enderlin assured Esther Schapira in 2007, “is a journalist like me; he’s a prima facie witness. He told me what happened. I’ve no reason not to believe him.” Three years later, in his self-justifying book, he elaborated: “Never failing in his professionalism, Talal is a most credible source, and has been employed by France2 since 1988.”

Well it's pretty apparent that not only is Enderlin a self-hater, but that he, and his ilk, practically planned and were in favor of this right from the start. And that they're still unrepentant, no thanks to the culture of selfishness they were raised under. Sooner or later, they'll be exposed as the monsters they are, and will have to apologize for their sins.

Illegal Muslim immigrants contaminate tons of produce en route to UK

The catastrophous policies of Europe lead to loss of revenue on groceries like onions:

British authorities were forced to destroy over 100,000 pounds of onions which were “contaminated” by illegal migrants discovered hiding in delivery lorries.

Border Force officials discovered more than twenty illegal migrants who identified themselves as being from Afghanistan, Albania, Iran, and Iraq — all Muslim-majority countries — in two separate incidents in the Port of Poole, the Dorset Echo reports.

“In June 2017 and January 2018, a total of 47,000 kilograms of onions were surrendered at the Port of Poole following the discovery of clandestine migrants in two vehicles that were being used to transport the goods,” explained Peter Haikin, the Borough of Poole’s Regulatory Services Manager.

“As a result of the discoveries, all of the produce was disposed of to ensure that no contaminated goods would end up in any restaurants or supermarkets.”

He added: “Borough of Poole continues to work closely with authorities to ensure that produce being provided to restaurants, supermarkets and distributors is safe for consumption.”

The high street value of the destroyed onions was estimated at over £35,000.

And the interlopers themselves may not have even been deported. I wonder if all the chemicals from the onions caused them to sob on the way over? But not nearly as much as I assume the produce distributors did, after the Muslim interlopers cost them only so much money in food supplies.

Merkel's monstrous dealings with Iran

A writer for Tablet tells what's wrong with the conduct of Germany's premier, Angela Merkel:

In a remarkable comment that was ignored by the German media last month, the president of the country’s roughly 100,000-member Central Council of Jews suggested that Germany has failed to internalize the lessons of the Holocaust. According to Dr. Josef Schuster, Angela Merkel’s flourishing trade with a regime in Tehran that is both the leading state sponsor of terrorism in the world and also the world’s top sponsor of lethal anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial, is incompatible with the spirit of the Federal Republic’s own foundational commitments, and with the laws of a country where Holocaust denial is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison.

To understand Schuster’s frustration and disappointment with German society, it is worth citing his critique: “It seems paradoxical that Germany—as a country that is said to have learned from its horrendous past and which has a strong commitment to fight anti-Semitism—is one of the strongest economic partners of a regime [Tehran] that is blatantly denying the Holocaust and abusing human rights on a daily basis. Besides, Germany has included Israel’s security as a part of its raison d’être. As a matter of course this should exclude doing business with a fanatic dictatorship that is calling for Israel’s destruction, pursuing nuclear weapons and financing terror organizations around the world.”

Schuster called for “an immediate halt to any economic relations with Iran. Any trade with Iran means a benefit for radical and terrorist forces, and a hazard and destabilization for the region.”

Yet Merkel, the leader of the Christian Democratic Union, and her foreign minister, Heiko Maas, of the Social Democratic Party, rejected Schuster’s plea, and are now working overtime to circumvent U.S. sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran. Maas, who claimed earlier this year that he entered politics “because of Auschwitz,” argued for an alternative method to facilitate financial transfers to the radical clerical regime in Tehran, to bypass a United States plan to re-institute the ban on Iran’s use of the SWIFT system.

The moral and economic danger represented by Merkel’s emergence as Iran’s major champion in Europe has been a kind of secret that dare not speak its name in the media and among the chattering classes in the Federal Republic. A rare exception in a country that does not have the Anglo-American tradition of aggressive investigative reporting was the BILD newspaper’s exposé on a German company that sold material to merchants based in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar. The components were later found in Iranian-produced rockets that contained chemicals used to gas Syrian civilians in January and February of 2018.

The rockets caused 21 Syrian children and adults to be poisoned. Germany’s export control agency told this writer that it will not bar the sale of such material in the future as a “dual-use” good that can be used for military and civilian purposes. The Krempel company that sold the material continues to do business with Iran and has a distribution center in the United States.

So what animates Germany’s devotion to Iran’s murderous regime, and its lack of solidarity—in both words and practice—with Israel? Economic interests are certainly front and center. Germany exported $3.42 billion in merchandise to Iran in 2017. Economic analysts said shortly after the 2015 nuclear deal was reached that German-Iranian trade could soon surpass $10 billion per year. Approximately 120 German companies operate inside the Islamic Republic, and 10,000 German businesses conduct trade with Iran. It should be noted that the German government not only rejects U.S. sanctions but also provides state credit guarantees to German companies that do business in the Islamic Republic, as means of facilitating German trade with Iran.

At this point, I think it'd be a good idea if sanctions were imposed upon Germany, if that helps send Merkel a message their conduct is unacceptable. And those companies still operating in the US should be given an eviction notice or have heavy fines imposed for violating laws against dealing with terror regimes. For now, we could certainly try to boycott companies like Krempel and not bankroll their products. US administration closes the PLO's office in Washington

The Trump administration's made another significant landmark decision that's to be proud of: they shut down the PLO's office in the District of Columbia (via World Israel News):

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the US decision to close the PLO mission in Washington, DC on Tuesday evening.

“The US made the right decision regarding the PLO mission in Washington,” Netanyahu said, according to Israel’s Channel 2. “Israel supports the American actions that are intended to make it clear to the Palestinians that the refusal to negotiate and the attempts to attack Israel in international forums will not advance peace.”

The US announced that it would close the mission on Monday, giving the staff several months to vacate. The State Department said in a statement that the move was directly connected to the Palestinian Authority’s refusal to negotiate with Israel or to consider any peace plan put forward by the Trump administration.

In addition, this makes an important step in shredding the lies of a "palestinian state", as one of the Israeli government ministers puts it:

Transportation and Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) on Wednesday welcomed US President Donald Trump's decision to close Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) offices in Washington DC.

"This decision joins the decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the decision to stop funding UNRWA, which is an organization that perpetuates the refugees' pretend right of return," Katz said. "All these steps reach the roots of the conflict and tell Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas that he can not continue his double-talk."

"Trump is peeling the Palestinian lie like an onion - layer by layer. Their educational system as well teaches their children that 'big Palestine' is from the Jordan River to the sea. Trump comes and says: 'If you want to sit and negotiate, do it from a realistic place - Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and there is no right of return. Abbas' response shows exactly what he thinks of these issues."

And Abbas should be arrested for the war crimes he committed decades ago, and not recognized as any kind of a leader. He is only a war criminal. The closure of their mission in the US was a long time in coming, and thankfully, it's been done, saving US taxpayers a lot of money.

Sana Amanat supports the awful Linda Sarsour

The tweet seen in the following screenshot was posted by Amanat in the past year or so, and gives an idea of just what kind of people she stands with, no matter how reprehensible their ideologies:

Yikes...Amanat supports Linda Sarsour, one of the most vicious Islamists in left-wing politics and a leader of the phony women's march at the time in Wash. DC? Some of Sarsour's most offensive remarks include incitement against Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Brigitte Gabriel, vicious attacks on Zionism/Israel at an event that was supposedly against antisemitism, and even, more recently, calls to stop humanizing Jews. As the Queens Gazette says, the left's giving the wrong person a crown. And one the worst offenders in that regard is Amanat, who's made clear by her endorsement that she's practically against the Jews who founded the comics medium as we know it, including Marvel guru Stan Lee. No wonder the Muslim Ms. Marvel series has since tanked.

And this is a sad reminder of how the world Lee built up has long been destroyed by these infiltrators who despise all his creations stood for. If these are the people who've become the overlords devastating Marvel from within, that's why it's probably for the best that their demise come sooner than later, rather than have it all turned into a true demon-fest.
