JUSTICE campaigner John Clough, whose daughter was murdered by her bodybuilder former partner, has said he would back the introduction of Sharia law.Now I think it's awful that the woman was brutally murdered and the pseudo-boyfriend never got the death sentence for his violent crime. But Mr. Clough is deluding himself if he thinks Islamic sharia would favor his side. If this case had been brought before a sharia court, it's more likely that the criminal would have gotten away with his crime altogether, based on the misogyny that's part and parcel of the Religion of Rape, and they could even use the fact that she wasn't married as justification for the murder, plus her status as a "kaffir" (non-believer in Islam) as an excuse for letting him off the hook. And even if she were adherent to Islam, they could still go the lenient route based on gender discrimination.
Today there are an estimated 85 Sharia law courts currently operating across the UK and Mr Clough, from Higherford, was asked to give his views as part of Channel 4’s 4Thought series.
And he has come out in support of the moral code and religious law of Islam, as he believes it takes the views of victims’ families into account.
Jane was brutally murdered by Jonathan Vass in the car park of Blackpool Victoria Hospital in July 2010. He was later jailed for life.
Ever since, Mr Clough and his wife Penny have worked tirelessly on Justice for Jane, to reform bail and sentencing laws, for which Penny was awarded the MBE in the New Year’s Honours list.
In the short clip, Mr Clough said: “Our daughter Jane was murdered by her ex-partner. We don’t believe Jane received justice for the crimes he committed against her. In sharia law, in the case of pre-meditated murder, the judge does not pass the sentence, it is given to the victim’s family and they can choose to have retribution, execution or they can have blood money paid. They can even choose to forgive.
“Had the decision been there to have him executed or sent to prison, I would have built the gallows, I would have carried out the deed myself.
“The Sharia system that gives the victim’s family some input is worthy of consideration. For me, for Penny, for my family to have some say in the punishment factor for the crimes he committed against Jane would give us some satisfaction.”
The programme makers had posed the question – ‘Is there a place for Sharia Law in Britain?’ – and Mr Clough’s contribution was one of five from people of different cultural backgrounds.

When the Muslim part-owner of a Santa Monica boutique hotel was found guilty last year of discriminating against a group of Jewish patrons, the hotel announced it would host a party for a Jewish group as part of its efforts to repair its reputation. Now, the Zionist group whose party is scheduled to take place at the hotel on Feb. 24 plans to use the occasion to present awards to two of the United States’ most outspoken anti-Islam activists -- Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.It's going to be a Purim party too. In August, a jury found the Hotel Shangri-La and its part-owner, Tehmina Adaya, guilty of discriminating in 2010 against 18 plaintiffs -- most of them young Jews -- when she disrupted a party organized by the local youth division of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces. In response to the verdict, Arfa and ZOA National Vice Chair Steve Goldberg announced plans to hold a protest outside the Shangri-La, but cancelled the protest when Adaya, who is of Pakistani descent, agreed to host a party at the hotel for leaders of the Jewish and pro-Israel community.
Earlier this month, lawyers for Adaya and the Shangri-La filed a motion requesting a retrial of the case, but the party planning appears to be proceeding unabated.

A series of bomb attacks across Iraq has killed at least 12 people, most of them Shia pilgrims, officials say. The worst incident was north of the capital, Baghdad, where two bombs, minutes apart, claimed the lives of at least seven pilgrims travelling to a shrine in the city of Samarra. Saudi Arabia: If you’re a solo female traveler looking to visit Saudi Arabia as a tourist, you’ll have an easier time booking a trip to Mars. As of 2010, tourist visas to Saudi Arabia don’t exist, and visas for business and to visit family are notoriously difficult for Americans to obtain. On top of that, women who do travel to the country must be accompanied by a male relative in order to be granted entry. And even then, Saudi Arabia isn’t exactly a welcoming destination for females. Women need a man, or government permission, to do just about anything – Saudi Arabian women aren’t even allowed to drive.I would just note that to say Iran isn't just as bad is foolish. Haji Ali Dargah Shrine, Mumbai, India: One of Mumbai’s most iconic landmarks, which is dedicated to a 15th-century Sufi saint Pir Haji Ali Bukhari. The site, which also holds the saint's tomb, draws between 15,000 and 20,000 daily visitors of all castes, creeds and religions, according to the organization that runs it. But in July, a women’s group visited and found the Dargah’s most sacred area, called the sanctum sanctorum, had been barred to females. The shrine’s authorities claim that it is "un-Islamic under the Sharia Law" for women to visit graves and that they were rectifying a mistake that had allowed women to enter this area.I don't know who those rights groups are, but they're deluding themselves about Islam all the same, since they - and definitely FOX - have failed to cite any verses in the Koran to back themselves up.

The 15-year prison sentence given to a woman and her seven children by an Egyptian court for converting to Christianity is a sign of things to come, according to alarmed human rights advocates who say the nation's Islamist government is bad news for Christians in the North African country.The family is lucky they didn't prescribe the death sentence, because they could have. For now, what's clear is that Egypt is already facing darkness.
A criminal court in the central Egyptian city of Beni Suef meted out the shocking sentence last week, according to the Arabic-language Egyptian paper Al-Masry Al-Youm.... When the conversion came to light under the new regime, Nadia, her children and even the clerks who processed the identity cards were all sentenced to prison.
Calling the beard a distraction, military trial judge Col. Gregory Gross found Hasan in contempt six times. He ordered the defendant out of the courtroom and into a trailer to watch the proceedings on a closed-circuit television.The saddest part of this case so far. That he was able to have Gross replaces is another of the grave defeats suffered in this trial. The families of the victims need the support of the public to see to it that justice is delivered properly.
The judge, frustrated by Hasan's unmilitary appearance, finally ruled he could either appear clean-shaven or be forcibly shaved. On appeal, the court agreed with Gross, but said the command -- not the judge -- should enforce it. The appeals court didn't agree the beard caused a distraction and vacated the contempt convictions.
Hasan then filed a motion of bias against Gross. In December, the appeals court agreed the proceedings had become "a duel of wills," dismissing Gross and appointing Col. Tara Abbey Osborn to replace him.
Along with the dismissal, the appeals court readdressed the beard issue, ruling it wouldn't decide if and how the Religious Freedom Restoration Act might apply to Hasan's claim of right to a beard, leaving it to Osborn to decide whether it needed to be addressed as a new matter.
In Hasan's first appearance before Osborn, noting the beard violated regulations, she commented, "I'm not going to hold that against you but some people on the panel may ..."
Interestingly, while arguing his Islamic faith gives him the right to grow a beard, Hasan never felt compelled by his faith to grow one earlier, before the Fort Hood attacks. He entered and served in the U.S. Army as a beardless Muslim; he should stand trial as one. Why allow him to claim otherwise now?
The appeals court, and perhaps Osborn, may be guilty of bias themselves. It is a bias influenced by a commander in chief who prohibits any reference to "Islam" or "jihadist" in national security documents. It is a bias prohibiting any reference to Hasan's act as one of "radical Islamism," instead calling it "workplace violence." It is a bias more appropriately known as PC.
Sadly, a silent majority refuses to question it.
Ironically, Hasan can tell us he acts now in accordance with his Islamic faith but PC prevents us from raising his faith as his motivation for the massacre.

On Wednesday, President Obama surrounded himself with cute kids to make a speech about gun control and how guns that hold more than 10 bullets are evil, and anyone that says otherwise obviously hates children. And puppies. Then he signed an executive order that is totally going to prevent bad people from doing bad things. He also said that any pundit that disagrees with him is doing so for “monetary gain.”
Or something like that. He didn’t specifically mention puppies, but he did imply that people who do not see the wisdom in his 23-point executive order to limit gun violence in America must not care about the children. It’s always about the children.
Here’s the thing: Second Amendment advocates care about the children too, but don’t parade them around to evoke an emotional reaction to accomplish a political end. President Obama could have just as easily said, “In order to protect our children, we need to put armed guards on every school campus, just like my daughters’ school. That way every parent can feel as safe as I do about the protection of their children.” It’s for the children, you know.
He didn’t though -- he used them to illustrate the need to do things like ban magazines that hold more than 10 bullets and require more stringent background checks. Unfortunately, none of that would’ve prevented the Sandy Hook tragedy, but it makes people feel better to think that maybe something could have stopped it from happening.

Affiliates of Rabbi Amnon Yitzhak, an ultra-Orthodox Sephardi leader who’s running for Knesset in the coming elections, filed a complaint with police Tuesday after Shas party activists allegedly sprayed tear gas at him and his followers at an event Monday night. Yitzhak, the head of the Koah Lehashpia (“Ability to Influence”) party, claimed that leaders of the rival ultra-Orthodox list had given the activists a tacit “green light” to attack him.Disgusting, and a classic textbook example of how not to run a campaign or be persuasive.
The incident comes amid rising tension between Yitzhak and Shas, which considers the rabbi as a thorn in its side, because his support base draws heavily from that of the Shas voter pool. Leaders of Shas have had a series of spats with Yitzhak in recent weeks, and Yitzhak claimed he has needed bodyguards since receiving threats from Shas party members.
At some point during Monday night’s event, dozens of participants felt a sudden burning sensation in their eyes. Yitzhak was transferred to a side room, and emergency medical teams arrived to care for the victims.
Coptic Christian churches in the United States say they are having to expand to cope with new arrivals, as priests in cities like Cairo and Alexandria talk of a new climate of fear and uncertainty.This is absolutely terrible, and will only lead to Egypt crumbling further.
