The Palestinian Authority on Wednesday reiterated its position that east Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian state.Which is just as well. If it were "their" capital, there wouldn't be any peace, and crime would be much more rampant. Furthermore, this is supposed to be a day of joy, so the PLO can shut their jaws and go to hell for all I care.
The announcement came in response to Jerusalem Day and statements by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to the effect that Jerusalem would remain the eternal and undivided capital of Israel
Nabil Abu Rudaineh, spokesman for PA President Mahmoud Abbas, said that there would be no peace agreement with Israel without east Jerusalem becoming the capital of the Palestinian state.

ON JERUSALEM DAY, PLO CONTINUES TO DEMAND CITY BE ITS CAPITAL
Today was Jerusalem Day, celebrating the reunification of the city. But if there's anyone who hated it here, it was none other than the PLO:

reminder: Jerusalem was divided for 18 of its 3000 years and never the capital of at arab or muslim polity.
