POST-OCSAR MOVIE POST: WHAT 10 MOVIES DO YOU FEEL SHOW AMERICA'S HEART AND SOUL?

Hollywood is a money-machine - or tries to be... And a lot of their money comes from overseas this days - like more than half. As a result, they pander to the non-American worldview these days, and the anti-American view to. The chic degenerati running H-wood think movies with too much of a por-American POV won't travel well.

I disagree.

I think that American values, like the Hollywood movie style, travels very well because they are transcendent and eternal and relate to desires and dreams that are deep within each and everyone of us: a desire for personal autonomy, mutual respect, adventure, and just desserts.

Which 10 ALL-TIME movies do you think have best portrayed America and our values and would travel best overseas and would best show young people what we're all about? reach a group of as yet un-brainwashed European teens or Martians, what would your 10 film film festival look like?
