NYTIMES AND THE INFALLIBILITY OF AGW: GLOBAL WARMING IS CAUSING GLOBAL COOLING

WHEN A HYPOTHESIS IS INFALLIBLE IS OFTEN NON-SCIENTIFIC AND ACTUALLY AN ARTICLE OF FAITH.

SUCH IS THE CASE WITH AGW. NYTIMES OP-ED:

... the overall warming of the atmosphere is actually creating cold-weather extremes. Last winter, too, was exceptionally snowy and cold across the Eastern United States and Eurasia, as were seven of the previous nine winters.

... we’re freezing not in spite of climate change but because of it.

AND THE AUTHOR GOES THROUGH A RELENTLESS SERIES OF SOMERSAULTS AND CONTORTIONS WHICH ARE POSITIVELY RUBE GOLDBERGIAN TO "PROVE" IT.

I WISH ALL THE AGW ALARMISTS WOULD JUST STFU.

Karl Popper, the late, great philosopher of science, noted that for something to be called scientific, it must be, as he put it, "falsifiable."

That is, for something to be scientifically true, you must be able to test it to see if it's false.

That's what scientific experimentation and observation do. That's the essence of the scientific method.

Unfortunately, the prophets of climate doom violate this idea. No matter what happens, it always confirms their basic premise that the world is getting hotter.

The weather turns cold and wet? It's global warming, they say. Weather turns hot? Global warming. No change? Global warming. More hurricanes? Global warming. No hurricanes? You guessed it.

Nothing can disprove their thesis. Not even the extraordinarily frigid weather now creating havoc across most of the Northern Hemisphere.

THAT'S WHY RATIONAL PEOPLE KNOW AGW IS BUNK.
