Yesterday we posed news items which reported that the USA made a large shipment of bunker-busting weapons to Diego Garcia - and that this might indicate that Obama was readying a military attack on Iran.

And that while a preemptive attack is needed - we wondered if it might be cynically used by Obama to gain popularity, i.e. "WAG THE DOG".

The United States has diverted a shipment of bunker-busters designated for Israel.

"This was a political decision," an official said.

"All signs indicate that this will continue in 2010," a congressional source familiar with the Israeli military
requests said. "This is really an embargo, but nobody talks about it publicly."
