The Danish Minister for Industry and Growth, Ole Sohn, has called for heightened penalties for businessmen that engage in price fixing. This practice is commonly referred to as a Cartel.
Isn't it amusing that Mr. Sohn, a leading member of the Socialist Peoples Party, and former CHAIRMAN OF THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE DANISH COMMUNIST PARTY FROM 1987-1991, would be so troubled by the emergence and maintenance of monopolistic practices! What is Communism if it is not just one huge, inefficient, and immoral cartel?
