TOO LITTLE AND TOO LATE: OBAMA TO ASK FOR A $100BILLION TAX CREDIT FOR BUSINESS R&D

NEWS ROUNDUP HERE.

THIS IS A HUGE FAUX PAS:

  • BY ASKING FOR THIS SO CLOSE TO THE ELECTION - AND NOT IN THE LAST 20 MONTHS - OBAMA HAS ADMITTED THAT
  • (1) OBAMANOMICS IS A FAILURE;
  • AND (2) THAT TAX CUTS ARE BETTER THAN BIG GOVERNMENT,
  • AND THAT THEREFORE (3) THE GOP AND THE RIGHT IS BETTER THAN THE DEMOCRATS AND THE LEFT.
  • IOW: THIS MOVE GUARANTEES THAT THE NEGATIVE VIEW OF OBAMA WILL INCREASE BETWEEN NOW AND NOVEMBER!

EXIT QUESTIONS:

(A) WHY DIDN'T OBAMA ASK THAT THE BUSH TAX CUTS BE EXTENDED FOR A YEAR, AT LEAST?

THE ECONOMY DESPERATELY NEEDS THIS (AT THE VERY LEAST) AND HAVING ADMITTED THAT TAX CUTS ARE GOOD FOR THE ECONOMY, HE SHOULDN'T STOP WITHOUT LETTING EVERY CITIZEN KNOW THEY WON'T GET A TAX INCREASE.

(B) IN HIS NEXT SOTU, WILL OBAMA HAVE THE AUDACITY TO SAY "THE ERA OF BIG GOVERNMENT IS OVER" AND BJ CLINTON DID?

PREDICTION: NOPE.

OBAMA HAS NEITHER THE MATURITY OR POLITICAL ELASTICITY OF CLINTON.
