IF OBAMA GETS HIS WAY, THEN YOUR GRANDPARENTS MAY SOON HAVE A LOT IN COMMON WITH TERRI SCHIAVO: DYING FROM DELIBERATE WITHHOLDING OF CARE

DOUG ROSS:

THE PRESIDENT: ...the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.

So how do you — how do we deal with it?

THE PRESIDENT: ...you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now.

In other words, faceless bureaucrats in Washington -- not your family -- will decide whether your grandparents live or die.
Terri Schiavo was a test case for these lefties - these "faceless bureaucrats".

Really.

The Left argued that withholding medical treatment and food and water led Terri to a peaceful and painless death. Death with dignity.

They will do the same with old folks. YOUR OLD FOLKS. (IF THEY GET THEIR WAY AND PASS OBAMACARE.)

And as a direct result, the government will reap a double savings by letting old people die: they spend less on health care and don't have to pay out any more Social Security. All of a sudden Medicare and Social Security are looking awfully solvent!

GEE: D'YA THINK MAYBE THIS IS WHY OBAMA IS SO CONFIDENT OBAMACARE WON'T COST TAXPAYERS AN EXTRA DIME, BUT WILL SAVE MONEY!?

YES.

DISSENT ACCORDINGLY.

  • VOTE GOP.
  • AND BUY AMMO.

  1. End-of-life care is a decision which should be made by the patient and the family.

I've had experience in this particular matter.

My father, in his 70s, put his end-of-life wishes in writing, with me named as medical proxy. He filed a copy with the family doctor, who had recently lost his own father and had to make the dreaded final decision.

In no way should any health-insurance company or the government be making those end-of-life decisions!!!

Once we reduce health care to dollars and cents for end-of-life decisions, we've gone down the road to euthanasia and eugenics.

I would also point out that Teddy Kennedy is pulling out all the stops to prevent his own death from glioblastoma multiforme, the deadliest type of brain cancer. How would he feel about it if we pulled the plug on HIS treatment?
