Imagine if Palin had said that...
If Palin had said that, it would have the closest thing to an intelligent comment she had ever made - because at least it would have implied she knew what a computer was. The fact is her blunders were far more serious, when she didn't have the pressure of actually being in a position of national responsibility, and of course on the campaign trail, which shows how facetious your whole argument is.
