President-elect Obama plans to use his executive powers to make an immediate impact when he takes office, perhaps reversing Bush administration policies on stem cell research and domestic drilling for oil and natural gas.GREAT: WHAT DO THESE LEFTISTS WANT TO MOVE ON FIRST? SOMETHING TO IMPROVE NATIONAL SECURITY, OR SEND A SIGNAL TO OUR ENEMIES, OR TO DRIVE DOWN THE COSTS OF ENERGY!?!? NOPE.
... One of Bush's first acts was to reinstate full abortion restrictions on U.S. overseas aid. The restrictions were first ordered by President Reagan and the first President Bush followed suit. President Clinton lifted them soon after he occupied the Oval Office and it wouldn't be surprising if Obama did the same.
- OBAMA WANTS THE USA TO HELP SO THAT MORE FETUSES OVERSEAS KILLED...
- AND OBAMA WANTS MORE EMBRYOS IN THE USA KILLED - UNNECESSARILY AND ASAP -
- AND OBAMA WANTS TO SIGNAL THE OPEC THAT WE WON'T INFRINGE ON THEIR TURF.
IT IS POSITIVELY IDIOTIC, IF NOT EVIL.
EXACTLY LIKE THE LEFT.
MORE HERE.
YES, IT IS EVIL
ReplyDeleteReversing the Bush administration's abuses of executive power now is "ruling by fiat" and "babykilling?"?
ReplyDeleteMy goodness. The rabid right threw that babykiller tripe at Obama in this last election. How'd that work out for you people?
If the Republican party wants to become relevant again, the best thing it could do would be to ignore hysterics like this and return to being a party of sane fiscal responsibility.
Adapt and evolve. ...Or stay the course and become politically extinct. Either way, America is going to be better off leaving this kind of garbage behind.
McCoy,
ReplyDeleteThose of us on the right are now the dissenters and the contrarians. Get used to it.
Reliapundit,
ReplyDeleteI just linked to this posting of yours in my posting on the same topic, here at TAB and at my site.
AOW:
ReplyDeleteThere's dissent and there is lunacy. It would be nice if the American right would recognize the difference and reflect such recognition in its actions.
On the other hand, we just watched the American electorate overwhelmingly reject this kind of rabidity.
"Stay the course", TAB!!
