OBAMA'S "PRETTY PIVOTS" - OR - WHEN IS A "A PIVOT" A PIVOT AND WHEN IS IT LYING?

Glenn, his blog-consort Althouse, and others refer to Obama's shifting positions as "pivots".

This is WAY too generous.

They are lies.

A pivot is something you do when you really change direction.

But when you merely try to play both sides at once and talk out of both sides of your mouth and your ass at the same time, then you're just lying.

Obama lies all the time.

He hasn't gone a day without a lie since he declared.

He hasn't staked out a single position based on a principle which transcend the politics of the moment.

This goes well beyond what Kerry did - and tried to call "NUANCED".

Obama does it for two reasons: he's a naive, ignorant, inexperienced pol' and this makes him prone to gaffes.

And deep down he's a committed dove and a hardcore leftist who knows he can't show who he really is and win.

ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY WHO SUPPORTS HIM IS A DUPE.

Why?

Because you're supporting a person whose "pivots"/lies prove he's not worthy of your trust - and whose inexperience proves he is not ready for the power that comes with the job he seeks.

Believing he deserves your trust and the powers of the POTUS requires a WILLFUL SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF:

IF YOU ARE A CENTRIST/MODERATE/INDEPENDENT: Then you must believe he's not a really a leftist - that he's leftist campaign was just to win over the base.

IF YOU ARE A LEFTIST/LIB: Then you must believe he's not a post-partisan moderate and that he's moving to the center just to win the White House, and that then, once he's POTUS, he'll govern from the left.

Either way: you have to give Obama the benefit of the doubt.

Something he hasn't earned.

WHY AM I SO SURE THAT OBAMA IS A LYING LEFTIST, UNQUALIFIED TO LEAD THE NATION?

His motto.

It's "change you can believe in".

He's BEGGING us to be gullible.

And that requires that we ignore what he did and with whom he's been associated with the last twenty years.

Based on his DEEP AND LONG-TERM associations we should conclude only this: he's corrupt; he's a leftist; he's a dove; he's pro-Arab/anti-Israel; anti-military; and anti-supply side/pro-redistribution.

PROVE ME WRONG!

Name ONE centrist or Zionist or Republican or Evangelical or Hawk he's been close to over the last twenty years.

Name one time he took on the Democrat-Leftist-MSM-Academy Complex.

You can't.

Because he never has.

BOTTOM-LINE:

Kucinich is more qualified than Obama. Carter was when he ran. Even Kerry was. Ditto Mondale and Dukakis.

A vote for Obama is a vote for a naive and inexperienced Kucinich.

Who talks pretty.

And "pivots".
