AHMADINEJAD AND THE DEMOCRATS AGREE: THE WORLD THINKS AMERICA SUCKS

CNN:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, heading home after a two-day visit to Iraq, again touted his country's closer relations with Iraq and reiterated his criticism of the United States.

"No one likes them," Ahmadinejad told reporters prior to returning to Iran, referring to the predominantly U.S. makeup of coalition forces in Iraq.

"We believe that the forces which crossed oceans and thousands of kilometers to come to this region should leave this region and hand over the affairs to the peoples and government of this region," Ahmadinejad said.
WHERE HAVE WE HEARD THAT BEFORE?

ER UM... FROM THE DEMOCRATS:

KERRY - 2004
:
"I'll Restore America's Reputation" - I'm a person who traveled for 40 years, and I know what it was like when you would go into a bar and people would pat you on the back and buy you a drink because you were American. Now, they would kick you out and want to kill you. I'll restore America's reputation, and I think that's primary in this race.
PAT LEAHY:
Senator Patrick Leahy, Democrat of Vermont, said he was supporting Mr. Obama because he believed he could best restore the image of the United States around the globe.

“Many around the world have lost respect for America and the hope that America once gave them. That’s a tragedy,” Mr. Leahy said. “We need a president who can reintroduce America to the world and reintroduce America to ourselves.”
DELAHUNT - FRIEND OF CHAVEZ:
Delahunt says Obama will restore US image abroad

Deval Patrick plans to pitch Barack Obama directly to voters in three key states. Patrick endorsed Obama at a rally in October on Boston Common (above) that attracted almost 10,000. US Representative William Delahunt of Massachusetts, a leading foreign policy voice in the Democratic Party, will endorse Barack Obama for president today, saying he believes the senator will repair the image of the United States overseas.

"If Barack Obama is elected president, I daresay America will present a new face to the world, will restore, simply by his election, hope - not just within the United States, but from all corners of the world, that America's claim to moral authority is back on track and that our leadership in world affairs will see a renaissance," Delahunt told the Globe.
MADELINE ALLBRIGHT:
With increasing problems at home and abroad, the next president will have to deal with tough, almost insurmountable challenges.

And he or she needs to have the intimate knowledge and preparedness of the diverse and complex issues, according to former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

In her new book, "Memo to the President Elect: How We Can Restore America's Reputation and Leadership," Albright takes a careful look at the crises we face in a concise and enlightening manner.

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA JUNIOR:
Obama has a clear "top three" goals he would bring to the presidency.

The first, he said during Tuesday's interview, is to get the United States out of Iraq and "restore our standing in the world."
HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON:
Americans are ready for a leader who will restore America's reputation in the world, and Hillary is prepared to lead America back in the right direction.

The next president's most urgent task will be to restore America's standing in the world to promote our interests, ensure our security, and advance our values.
CHAVEZ:
In Buenos Aires, Chavez said Bush's five-nation swing would fail to improve America's image and dismissed his pledges of U.S. aid as a cynical attempt to "confuse" Latin Americans.

"I believe the chief objective of the Bush trip is to try to scrub clean the face of the empire in Latin America. But it's too late," Chavez said on Argentine state television. "It seems he's just now discovered that poverty exists in the region."

At the stadium rally, men and women with children in tow applauded Chavez.

"We are here to show our support of Chavez and our repudiation of Bush and imperialism," said Claudio Hernandez, a Chilean in the crowd. "We are against Bush because of his oil wars and his other policies, which go against the people of the world.

Anti-American and anti-Bush sentiment run high in the countries on Bush's tour, particularly over the war in Iraq and U.S. trade negotiations.
  • AHMNADINEJAD AND CHAVEZ AND THE DEMOCRATS: LEFT-WING ANTI-AMERICAN BIRDS OF A FEATHER - AND THEY'RE WRONG.
  • AMERICA'S IMAGE ABROAD IS JUST FINE - EXCEPT WITH THE LEFT THE DEMS IDOLIZE.
  • SINCE BUSH HAS BEEN PRESIDENT, FRANCE AND GERMANY BOTH ELECTED PRO-AMERICA PM'S. AND...
  • DENMARK REELECTED ONE.
  • BERLUSCONI LOST A SQUEAKER TO PRODI - THE SOCIALIST - BUT IS MAKING COME BACK.
  • THE CZECH REPUBLIC IS SQUARELY WITH US, AS IS POLAND - AND BOTH ARE SIGNING UP FOR NMD - WHICH THE DEMOCRATS WOULD CANCEL!
  • PM BROWN OF GREAT BRITAIN IS STILL TIGHT WITH US - AND STARTING TO CRACKDOWN ON IMMIGRATION WITHOUT ASSIMILATION.
  • ON BALANCE, WHEN YOU SUBTRACT THE WEASELS CHIRAC AND SCHRODER, EUROPE IS IMMEASURABLY MORE PRO-AMERICAN THAN AT ANY TIME IN THE LAST 8 YEARS.
BOTTOM-LINE: IF BUSH IS PISSING OFF TYRANTS LIKE CHAVEZ AND AHMADINEJAD AND ASSAD, THEN HE'S DONG SOMETHING RIGHT!
