Man, I love that scene. When that movie came out I was seven years old. My father took me to the movie and was so astounded that I talked every member of my family into taking me to see the movie again and again. All in all, I saw the movie eight times by the time I was eight years old.
Clearly this movie helped shape my conciousness.
I still watch the movie at least once a year.
I wish to God we had a Patton now. We need to roll over the al-Sadr's and the other "Islamists" the same way Patton determined to roll right over the Nazis.
If we would really beat them, instead of half-way beating them, they would be convinced of their defeat, and they would run screaming. After all, that's what they are best at doing.
Remember the Highway to Hell after the first Iraq war.
