ITALIAN PARTY PROPOSES RAPISTS BE CASTRATED

BBC:
Italy's far-right Northern League has presented a bill to castrate convicted rapists, after a series of rapes in northern Italy by suspected immigrants. The bill says chemical or surgical castration of offenders is necessary to remove a social disease which is a threat to life and public safety. ... The bill has been heavily criticised and is unlikely to be passed.
I think castration is a good solution. But I don't think we could pass a law to achieve that. If we can't pass a law to castrate rapists, then we should AT LEAST be able to pass law one to put them away for life. There's just NO EXCUSE for ever letting a convicted rapist getting out to commit another rape.

This might be very hard to get passed into law because the Democrat Party wants convicted felons - including rapists - to be able to vote when they get out!
