FOR HIS BIG MOUTH: TRENT LOTT RESIGNED FROM LEADERSHIP; SO MUST DICK DURBIN

Lott resigned from his leadership position because of an unpardonable utterance, one he APOLOGIZED FOR MANY TIMES ! (AT LEAST FOUR TIMES!)

So. Must. Durbin. Apologize. And. Resign.

UPDATE: Durbin has issued a "non-apology apology" - BETSY and CAPT. ED have the details and more links. BOTTOM-LINE: DURBIN MUST PUBLICALLY APOLOGIZE - FOR REAL - AND HE ALSO MUST RESIGN: JUST LIKE LOTT.

UPDATE #2: at 7:02PM, POWERLINE linked to an article from the BOSTON HERALD which made the LOTT/DURBIN comparison and called on Durbin to resign --- which once again proves that GREAT MINDS THINKS ALIKE!
