Taxpayers spent $1.4 billion dollars on everything from staffing, housing, flying and entertaining President Obama and his family last year, according to the author of a new book on taxpayer-funded presidential perks.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if you could find out something: the breakdown of the figures. How much for Air Force One? How much for "other stuff"?
I'm thinking that many Americans think that profligate spending for Air Force One is okay (It's not!). But the other exact numbers might shock the hell out of them.
