AFTER ASSAD IS GONE, WILL THERE MAY WELL BE AT LEAST ONE INDEPENDENT KURDISH STATE

EVEN TURKEY IS THINKING/WORRYING THERE'S GONNA BE AT LEAST ONE COMPLETELY SOVEREIGN KURDISH NATION ON IT'S BORDER.

SYRIA AND TURKEY USED TO BOTH SUPPRESS THE KURDS.

NOW - IRONICALLY - TURKEY'S SUPPORT FOR THE REBELLION AGAINST THE ALAWITE REGIME OF ASSAD MAY VERY WELL LEAD TO PARTITION AND AN INDEPENDENT KURDISH STATE.

THAT WOULD BE A VERY GOOD THING.

STAY TUNED...

  1. Are all Kurds friendly to the US, or only the ones we eventually threw under the bus in Iraq?
