Joe Biden And John Podesta Also Spreading the Partisan Gridlock Lie

"We can't get anything done. We can't get anything done. And, it's all because of partisanship."

For God's sake, they has a 60-40 majority. And now, they have a 59-41 majority.

If you can't get anything done with majorities like that there's something very wrong with your agenda.

“I don’t ever recall a time in my career where to get anything done you needed a super majority, 60 out of 100 senators… I’ve never seen it this dysfunctional. I’m trying to get the other team to cooperate.”
--- Joe Biden

"Can we change (anything) in a situation where we've got, now, a Parliamentary system without majority rule."
--- John Podesta

Check that out, Podesta compares our system to a Parliamentary System without majority rule" even though Obama does have a majority.

So, what does he mean? He means, even Obama's fellow Democrats can't be counted on to vote with him.

Why?

Because his agenda is too radical, and they know they will lose their Congressional seats if they don't stick to what their constituents want.

So, what Podesta is lamenting is the Democratic process whereby Congressional REPRESENTATIVES actually represent their constituency.

And, what Podesta is calling a Parliamentary system is, in fact, the splintering of the Democratic Party into moderate Democrats and Progressive Socialists.

It's their fault. It's not the fault of "Republican obstructionists."

Remember, the moderate Democrats are beginning to vote with the Republicans.
