HYUNDAI: IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME

From the New York Times:

Hyundai Motor America said Tuesday that sales jumped 46 percent in November on strong sales of its Accent, Elantra and Sonata models.

BY THE NUMBERS: Total sales were 28,045 for November, compared with 19,221 in the same month last year. Hyundai also posted better sales so far this year, with 401,267 vehicles sold in the first 11 months compared to 377,705 in the same part of 2008.

HOT MODELS: The Sonata was the most popular model for the automaker, with 8,178 sold in November. The Accent posted the largest year-over-year gain, with sales jumping 93 percent to 3,831 sold in November.

EVEN IN A BAD ECONOMY, IF YOU HAVE WHAT PEOPLE WANT YOU CAN DO REAL WELL.

POLITICIANS OUGHT NOT TO BE PICKING WINNERS AND LOSERS IN THE CAR MARKET - OR ANYWHERE ELSE.

THE INVISIBLE HAND IS ALWAYS MORE EFFICIENT AND LESS BIASED OR CORRUPT.
