Definitely No More Socialist Education

Further to my earlier post containing a semi-off-topic rant against socialist education, AT's Graph of the Day from the 15th is quite illuminating:

ACT
The ACT people stopped recording separate scores for homeschooled kids in 2006. I wonder why. No, I don't.

Socialism always fails. No exceptions. If it's working, you're still in the early stage of killing the kulaks and growing the politburo.

Here's another socialist education success story: 2/3 of Detroit socialist school kids perform as well on standardized tests as people who were raised by wolves and randomly filled in answers, no exaggeration. We as a society would be better off just not even trying to educate them, since we would at least save money while accomplishing nothing. That's because educating kids is not our responsibility as a society and the free market has a magical way (the Invisible Hand) of forcing reality on people by destroying insane leftist delusions like socialist education possibly ever working. I don't care if people can't afford to raise their own kids. We can't afford it as a nation, either, so why spread the failure and the poverty around?

And we pay for this.

I repeat: We as a society would be better off just not even trying to educate them, since we would at least save money while still accomplishing nothing.

Continuing this destructive, unaffordable charade is living Einstein's definition of insanity as a matter of national policy.
