BREAKING NEWS: IRAN SAYS IT WILL ALLOW IAEA INSPECTIONS

IRAN WILL ALLOW IAEA INSPECTORS INSIDE PLANT:
IRAN said on Saturday it will put its newly disclosed uranium enrichment plant under the supervision of the UN nuclear watchdog, in a move welcomed by the United States.

'Blow to Western arrogance'

'THIS issue was turned around in a way that (now) we believe they regret bringing it up,' Mr Ahmadinejad told reporters on his return home from the UN General Assembly in New York.

'They may pursue this issue through the media but it has become a firm blow to the arrogance,' in reference to the United States and other Western powers, the hardline Iranian president said.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, meanwhile, said the disclosure was a 'firm blow' to Western powers opposed to Teheran's atomic work.

'This site will be under the supervision of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and will have a maximum of five percent (uranium) enrichment capacity,' Iran's atomic energy chief Ali Akbar Salehi said on state television.

The plant, which is 'not an industrial scale' unit, will be operational in two years' time, he said.

Dismissing allegations that the plant has a military purpose, Mr Salehi said the facility is being constructed as a 'precautionary measure in case of an unwanted incident against our nuclear programme.' US Secretary of State Hillary Mrs Clinton welcomed the decision to grant access to the IAEA.
AND HERE:
As world pressure mounted Saturday, Iran said it would allow United Nations inspectors to examine its newly revealed, second uranium-enrichment facility, according to media reports.

The move came after U.S. President Barack Obama used his Saturday radio address to call on Iran to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency, and media reports later in the day suggested that Obama would demand Iran submit to an inspection within three weeks.

Iran has claimed the facilities are for peaceful purposes, but Western nations have said they feared Iran is attempting to develop nuclear weapons.

Iran's capitulation on the inspection demand first was reported by The Associated Press.

US welcomes Iran inspection offer

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has given a cautious welcome to Iran's announcement that it will open a newly revealed nuclear plant to inspection.

Speaking in New York, Mrs Clinton said it was always welcome when Iran decided to comply with international rules.

  • THIS IS A DELAYING TACTIC - ONE THEY LEARNED FROM KIM JUNG IL.
  • THEY WANT NUKES.
  • IF WE LET THEM GET THEM THE ULTIMATE CONFRONTATION WILL BE WORSE THEN IF WE PREVENT THEM FROM GETTING THEM.
THE IAEA HAS PROVEN OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN IT'S USELESS. IRAN, INDIA, PAKISTAN, LIBYA, AQ KHAN, SYRIA - ALL FOOLED THE IAEA.

WE MUSTN'T LET IRAN DELAY US. IT ONLY MAKES THEM STRONGER.

Now it's really time to quarantine Iran.

The USA should say: "Effective Monday, no goods or services or money or gasoline comes or goes into Iran until Iran dismantles their nuclear assets.

If Iran doesn't start dismantling them within 3 weeks, then we will bomb and destroy their nuclear assets, and all their military assets.

Unless there is a successful popular pro-West uprising.
