IF ISRAEL IS DOING THIS TO SYRIA, WHY NOT TO IRAN?

As we all believe we know by now, Israel attacked a suspected Syrian nuclear facility in July of this year.

Why are they not doing the same thing in Iran?

Anyone have any ideas?

  1. Pastorius,

I think that at least some of the Iranian nuclear facilities are located in urban neighborhoods, in contrast to the Syrian facility, which was in the desert. The cost of destroying the Iranian facilities will be far greater that that of destroying the Syrian.

  2. Good point, Punditarian.

The long-range cost of NOT destroying them will be far greater as well.

  3. It has also occurred to me that the Iranian nuclear infrastructure is much more sophisticated. It is not all in one place. It is buried beneath hundreds of feet of concrete (supposedly), etc.

Maybe the logistics are just that much harder.

However, it is going to have to be done, in my opinion.

    That's that.
