REPEATING PAST ERRORS IS USUALLY A BAD THING... SO WHY DOES THE LEFT FAVOR IT!?

One of the chief reasons the Taliban took over Afghanistan from the mujahadeen was that WE ABANDONED AFGHANISTAN AFTER WE HELPED THE KICK THE COMMIES OUT.

That left a vacuum, and the Taliban and their extremist totalitarian, tyrannical terror regime filled the vacuum.

IF WE ABANDON IRAQ THEN WORSE THINGS WILL HAPPEN: Al Qaeda will takeover AND there'll be a genocidal sectarian bloodbath AND the USA and our military will look defeated and unreliable which will only embolden the bad guys EVERYWHERE!

Some claim we are losing Afghanistan. (HERE TOO.) And some blame the fact that we are focused on Iraq.

I think this is BS. We are killing many MANY islamo-nazis in Afghanistan.

Sure, the enemy has upped their pace of attacks - especially suicide attacks.

But this is a tactics which has no military value. It has only SHOCK VALUE, only terror value, only the power to make us FEEL we can't win and therefore decide to leave.

We can hang in there and we should and we must. The only way they win is if we bug out.

Like we did before - with bad results. LET'S NOT REPEAT OLD ERRORS - ANYWHERE.

ASIDE: Then again, maybe we should reconsider using some small nukes on the tribal areas where al Qaeda is hanging out in Afghanistan? We give them a 48 hour opportunity to turn over their foreign fighters.

THEN BAM.

WE WIN.

We don't do that because we care HOW we win. Maybe just for PR reasons.

Maybe we shouldn't.
