Another possible anti-semitic shooting
has taken place in the USA:
A rabbi, identified as Rabbi Joseph Raksin by NBC news, was shot and killed on his way to synagogue Saturday morning, in North Miami Beach.
He was shot by 2 youths at 9am, and airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he died.
The two fled, one on foot, and one on a bike.
A reader updated us that today's murder took place two blocks away from a Miami synagogue, which was vandalized with swastikas and the word "Hamas" last week.
The terrible thing about this is that, as in various other cases of this sort, the police are
holding themselves hostage to political correctness:
Police do not yet have a good description of the shooters, and say there are no signs that this was a hate crime.
It occurs to me that the police don't want to examine the possibilities this could be a hate crime, so they give a predictable response they don't know the motive. That's only an attempt to avoid the harder queries, and it gives many authorities in the USA a poor image as incompetent.
