Eighteen people were arrested for attacks on shops, including a kosher supermarket, a Jewish-owned chemist and a funeral home. Rioters, who carried batons and threw petrol bombs according to eyewitnesses, were yards from the synagogue when they were driven back by riot police who used tear gas. It's beyond the pale and obscene, and it's only discouraging more Jews from remaining in a once fine country to come here instead. A modern day Kristallnacht. And prime minister Manuel Valls wasn't helping when he brought up the war in Gaza as though that really matters:
“They were shouting: ‘Death to Jews,’ and ‘Slit Jews’ throats’,” David, a Jewish sound engineer told The Times. “It took us back to 1938.”
Valls and Fabius reiterated calls for an immediate ceasefire in the region and rejected criticism of France's stance in the latest outbreak of violence there. Pro-Palestinian protesters and some leftist politicians accuse it of pro-Israeli bias. This is exactly what's encouraging those savages to resort to violence and worse. It's hardly pro-Israel at all. And people like him wonder why the Jewish community will only end up leaving? A very sick man who can't decide clearly where he stands. This is exactly what European politicians fail to come to terms with.
"The images we see of women, children, being killed by Israeli bombings are horrendous. There is no other solution than an immediate ceasefire and negotiations," Valls said.
It's very sad if Jews have to leave France, but even the government's left no choice, and there's plenty of people there who won't be satisfied, because the government is failing thanks to political correctness. The worst part is that Europe as a whole does look to face a bloody civil war. If it comes, I hope nobody sane is going to let the Islamofascists take over the continent, because then, it would only lead to more misery for future generations in countries that pride freedom above all, and lead to just what we don't want: war.
