Obama, and the postmodern left, love America the way a wife loves a husband she wants to change ENTIRELY - (and we know how badly that always works out!).
That's the "change" they believe in; they call it progessivism and it has made the USA progressively worse.
People on the right love America AND all its warts and bad habits and idiocentristic ways. They understand that each of us is imperfect and all together we are always going to be imperfect. And that therefore, utopia is impossible - just the way turning a man into a "perfect husband" is impossible.
IT'S WORSE ACTUALLY:
People who feel they can turn society into utopia have slaughtered hundreds of millions of people and impoverished billions - and done so DESPITE knowing their efforts were going cost lives because they fervently believed that their vision of utopia was within their reach; that's why gulags exist: in order to perfect humans and humanity and society. As one famous utopianist once said, if you want an omelet you have to break some eggs.
People on the right know that capitalism and democracy aren't perfect (and can;t be because we're not perfect); they're just the best POSSIBLE ways for us imperfect humans to organize ourselves.
People on the right revere our founding principles - which protect individual liberty and limit government authority because the limited government based on these principles allow us to live our own lives as freely as we can, each pursuing happiness as we each see it - and not how politicians, aristocrats or bureaucrats want us to see it.
People on the right know that these principles are responsible for our prosperity - as our prosperity certainly cannot be the result of race since we are a multiracial nation.
People on the right want America to RETURN to these principles and core values.
That's change we can believe in.
Excellent analysis!
