THE MASK SLIPS, AT THE ZOO...

I went to a zoo with a life-long leftist - and American, born and bred here -  and big-shot at a world famous NGO.

When we got to the wild turkeys, I mentioned two things: first, that I preferred Jim Beam or Old Grandad, or IW Harper. or Maker's Mark - (to Wild Turkey - which went over his/her head), and second, that Ben Franklin wanted the turkey to be our national bird and not the eagle because the eagle was a predator.

The NGO leftist said the predator was more apt.

I mentioned that Europeans might not feel that way and (s)he ignored me and went to see the emu's...

Postmodern leftists believe that America has been a bad player in history - a predatory and hegemonic empire - and hate the USA as much as they hate Israel and Judeo-Christian civilization.

The key reasons they feel this way are simple - and simply false:

1. they blame the West for sexual repression
2. they blame the West for causing catastrophic climate change
3. they blame the West for most of humanity's genocide
4. they blame the West for Third Word poverty

ALL of these notions - foundational to the left's hatred for the West and Jude-Christianity and the USA - are false.

Here's the truth:

• Women are more liberated in he West than anywhere on Earth
• personal liberty without Natural Law devolves into libertinage, and widespread libertinage devolves into anarchy and epidemics

• Climate change is natural, a little warming is beneficial, and CO2 is benign

• Most of humanity's genocide was committed in the name of Islam, and socialism killed more people in the 20thC than Jews and Christians killed in the preceding 20 centuries.

• Third World poverty is the result of their lack of industrialization, and their kleptocracies; Asia was once poorer than Africa but prospered when it became more Western and more industrialized and developed more commericial exchange with USA and the West.
• In addition, CO2phobia and the climate alarmists are killing Third Worlders by making it next to impossible for them to industrialize.

And without the left acting as a Fifth Column in the West, global jihad wouldn't have gotten a toe-hold which is fast becoming a threatening stranglehold.

WHICH IS WHY I HAVE LONG SAID, IF WE WANT TO MAKE GLOBAL POVERTY AND GLOBAL IGNORANCE HISTORY, THEN WE NEED TO MAKE LEFTISM HISTORY.
