HAGEL NOMINATION MAY HAVE BEEN STOPPED

Jonathan Tobin reports that the nomination of Chuck Hagel to defense secretary may have been prevented, thanks mostly to a report in the Wash. Free Beacon on statements he made in 2007 claiming that Israel controlled the State Dept, when past history has shown it's nothing like that. And some of the Jewish organizations that were strangely silent before have begun to speak up. See also this item from Michael Rubin.

Now that Hagel's most detestable behavior's come to light, we can only wonder, will the GOP and other opposition also object to John Brennan's possible nomination?
