BRRRRRRR!: PARTS OF AUSTRALIA HAVING COLDEST WINTER IN NEARLY 50 YEARS!

This morning saw the coldest recorded August temperature in Bundaberg since 1964 - bottoming out at a bone-chilling 3.4 degrees about 6.30am. 

Before that, the only August morning recording a colder temperature was 2.7 degrees in 1964.
