WE may be nearing the end of winter, but Mother Nature has other ideas - with New South Wales recording one of the coldest August nights ever last night.
Temperatures dropped to as low as -10C along the ranges, and even regions only a few kilometres from the coastline saw the mercury dip below zero.AND:
The cool conditions are part of Brisbane's longest single-digit cold snap in 17 years, after 11 days straight where overnight temperatures haven't reached double figures, and it will continue into the Ekka tomorrow.
... The city has recorded 11 days straight with overnight temperatures not making double figures, with single-digit conditions forecast until Monday. In 1995, the city had 25 consecutive days between July and August with single-digit minimum temperatures, while in 2008 Brisbane Airport - which has a separate weather station - had 18 consecutive days. In 2008, Brisbane had 13 consecutive days with minimums in single digits.IOW: THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING.
DON'T BE DUPED.
MAN-MADE CLIMATE CHANGE IS JUST AN EXCUSE BY LEFTISTS TO SEIZE MORE PRIVATE PROPERTY AND PASS MORE SEVERE REGULATIONS OF PRIVATE ENTERPRISE.
Johannesburg just been hit by global warming snowblanket covered the city.
