THERE ARE MORE INDEPENDENTS THAN REPUBLICANS OR DEMOCRATS - AND THAT SHOULD EFFECT WHO THE GOP SHOULD NOMINATE

There are now way more IND's than GOP'ers or dems‏.

For the GOP nominee to win he must do more than carry the base; he must win 90% of the GOP and more than half of the IND's.

Polls indicate that only Romney can do this.

That's a key reason the GOP should nominate him.

It is foolish for Republicans to vote for the most conservative person they can.

Republicans should nominate the most conservative person who can win the election.

I think Daniels and Ryan and Pawlenty are all more conservative than Mitt, and that they might have been able to defeat Obama. But they are not in the race.

Of all the folks contesting the GOP nomination, only Mitt can win.

And with the right Veep and good financing, he will win big. I think Demint and Jindal and Rubio and Ryan and Pawlenty and Christie each bring something to the table.

I trust Mitt will make a good strategic choice.
