FASCINATING GLOBAL POLL RESULTS: EUROPE & FRANCE THE GLOOMIEST PLACES ON EARTH, AND AFRICA - ON THE WHOLE - THE MOST OPTIMISTIC

YOU'D THINK THAT FRANCE WOULD BE HAPPIER AND THE AFRICANS GLOOMIER BUT THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE:

The "End of Year" survey by Gallup International of 51 countries found that France beat second placed Ireland and third placed Austria for the dubious recognition as most pessimistic, economically-speaking.  

Its score of negative 79, a drop of 20 points from last year, was the lowest the poll has recorded since 1978. 

"Even in 1978, after the second oil crisis that called into question an entire economic system, the French have never shown themselves as pessimistic as today," said the poll.  

"Europe leads in despair, followed by North America," it said. "The rest of the world, lead by Africa, remains mostly optimistic." 

... Among a list of 51 countries, Nigeria was found to be the most optimistic country, when considering economic prosperity, followed by Vietnam and Ghana.

SO WHY DO LEFTISTS WANT US TO BE MORE LIKE FRANCE AND EUROPE?!?

AND WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS HOLDING UP AFRICA AS A PLACE OF DESPAIR?


I THINK THE REASON AFFLUENT EUROPE IS FULL OF DESPAIR AND IMPOVERISHED AFRICA IS FILLED WITH HOPEFULNESS IS NOT THE UNDERLYING ECONOMIC SITUATION, BUT THE DIVERGENT EXPECTATIONS OF THE PEOPLE IN EACH CONTINENT:

• AFRICAN'S EXPECT VERY LITTLE AND WHEN THEY GET A LITTLE MORE THEN THEY HAVE IN THE PAST THEY ARE HAPPY.

• EUROPEANS HAVE LONG HAD DEEPLY UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS FOR THEIR SOCIALIST UTOPIA AND AS IT BEGINS TO DELIVER LESS (AND AS IT BECOMES EVER MORE APPARENT THAT IT WILL COLLAPSE) THEY ARE EFFIN' FREAKIN' OUT!
