Iran has invited the chairman of Libya's National Transitional Council to visit Teheran, according to an Iranian foreign ministry statement quoted by the AFP news agency Tuesday.I THINK THE SO-CALLED "ARAB SPRING" WILL TURN OUT TO BE MORE LIKE THE ISLAMIC REBELLION AGAINST THE SHAH, THAN A DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION.
According to the statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi spoke with NTC head Mustafa Abdel Jalil on the phone and "congratulated the victory of the Muslim people of Libya and stressed [the need] to deepen bilateral ties."
