BRRRRRRR!: HEAVIEST SNOWS IN 2 DECADES BRING BOLIVIA TO A STANDSTILL!

AGWMA:

The worst snow storms in Bolivia in the last 20 years have left thousands of people stranded, as more snow is forecast for the coming days.

The Bolivian government has appealed for help from neighbouring countries.

It says it needs helicopters to drop aid to isolated communities and heavy machinery to clear the roads.

BOLVIA'S HEAVIEST SNOWS IN 20 YEARS:

President Evo Morales was reported to be considering declaring a state of emergency in the region of Potosi to mobilise the army and national guard.

Some 7,000 people belonging to farming families are in need of help in the region, according to officials.

More than 40,000 llamas and alpacas are also without food and farmers have lost their crops under a thick blanket of snow.

IOW: AGW =TFBS.
