IT AIN'T JUST EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA: INDIA HAS ITS COLDEST NEW YEAR'S DAY IN 7 YEARS

BRRRRRRR:
While the temperatures at party venues soared on Friday, the mercury plummeted to an all-time low of this season. With 12.8 degrees Celsius, the city recorded its chilliest New Year's Eve in the last seven years.

... The temperatures are likely to dip even further with the strong winds blowing over the country, predicts the weather department. "Due to the wind chill, temperatures are likely to dip by 2-3 degrees Celsius," said the official.
