UPDATED: THE ASTUTE BLOGGERS GETS RESULTS: SEVERAL NATIONS ANNOUNCE QUARANTINE OF YEMENI CARGO

UPDATED BELOW...

I DEMANDED A QUARANTINE YESTERDAY. NO ONE ELSE DID - PUBLICLY.

HERE'S THE NEWS TODAY:

NYTIMES:
Germany, France and Britain all halted cargo shipments from Yemen as aviation and counterterrorism authorities weighed their response to the discovery late last week of two bombs in air cargo from Yemen. Germany halted all Yemeni passenger flights, as well.

The British government also, at least temporarily, barred Somali cargo and said that air passengers would not be allowed to carry on ink cartridges the size of those used in the plot.

THIS IS A START.

WE NEED TO MAKE THE QUARANTINE TOTAL AND EMPLOY IT AGAINST OTHER PROBLEM NATIONS AS WELL.

UPDATE: SOMALIA GETS A QUARANTINE: UK TELEGRAPH: "flight ban on freight from Somalia"
Flights containing unaccompanied freight from Somalia will be suspended in the wake of the cargo plane terror plot, Home Secretary Theresa May has said.

The suspension, which will come into force from midnight, is a "precautionary measure" based on "possible contact between al-Qaida in Yemen and terrorist groups in Somalia, as well as concern about airport security in Mogadishu", Mrs May told MPs.

I HOPE THIS IS JUST THE START.

NON-WESTERN NATIONS MUST BE MADE TO FEEL THAT THEIR LIFE-LINES TO THE WEST DEPEND ON THEM ERADICATING THE JIHADIST THREAT TO THE WEST.

EITHER THEY TAKE CARE OF THIS SCUM OR WE QUARANTINE THEM.

AND I MEAN ALL OF THEM. THE TIME FOR CARROTS IS OVER.

  1. The Netherlands have banned all cargo aircraft originating in Yemen from landing at Dutch airports.
I don't know if the ruling applies to aircraft that make fuelstops elsewhere after departing Yemen, or if cargo originating in Yemen but transferred elsewhere before arriving on Dutch soil is covered (both favourite terrorist tricks).
