The Palestinians on Monday rejected a demand by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhau that they should recognize Israel as a Jewish state in order to secure a new freeze on settlement building.

THE IDEA THAT ISRAEL IS AND WILL REMAIN A JEWISH STATE HAS BEEN PART OF THE PROCESS FOR YEARS.

HAMAS OBJECTED AT THE TIME; FATAH AND ABBAS DIDN'T - PUBLICLY.

AND WHEN THE JIHADISTS CALL ISRAEL THE "ZIONIST ENTITY" THEY ARE TACITLY ACKNOWLEDGING ISRAEL IS A JEWISH STATE.

THE NYTIMES JUST PUBLISHED AN ANALYSIS OF THIS AND DID NOT MENTION THE FACT THAT BOTH OBAMA AND BUSH HAVE REPEATEDLY AND EXPLICITLY STATED THAT THE GOAL OF THE PEACE PROCESS WAS A JEWISH STATE OF ISRAEL WITH DEFENSIBLE BORDERS. THE FACT THAT FATAH WON'T ACCEPT THIS PROVES THAT THE TALKS ARE A NON-STARTER. IF THEY WON'T ACCEPT THIS, THEN THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT.

LIKE THE INVENTION OF "THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE," THE TALKS ARE JUST A PLOY FOR THE ARABS AND JIHADISTS TO GAIN TIME AND AN EDGE OVER ISRAEL WITH THE INTENT TO DESTROY IT, ERASE IT FROM THE MAP.
