"We all live in fear!" Jews in Turkey (Ynet news via gayandright blog)

Ashkenazi Synagogue in Istanbul

Faced with rising anti-Semitism and despite recent attempts by the mayor of Istanbul, Kadir Topkas, Jewish fears have not been quelled.

The mayor said:
"I have (known) many Jews back from my studies. The recent events are not only difficult for Israelis but also for Turks. I ask of you to tell the Israelis to return to our country."

But a guest at the reception for the mayor said: "The situation has not calmed down, but has only gotten worse. The Jews feel isolated."

Refael Saadi, 55, one of (prime minister) Erdogan's class-mates, is also hurt by the situation.
"Most of the Jews of Turkey made a living in textile(sic). But recently there is a feeling that they (the government)are trying to take the textile industry from the Jews. The Turks decide to damage Jews' incomes so they would flee!"

According to an article in Arutz Sheva a few weeks ago, the lack of Israeli holiday-makers to Turkey had deprived the turks of about $500 million in revenue. Erdogan, like all other muslim leaders can't see beyond his stone-age cult of Jew-hatred, (that is based on envy and frustrated anger)!, this psychopath does not even care about his own people!

And like the Nazis he is stealing Jewish businesses. If the Jews have to leave quickly, he will be able to to steal their properties too!

I pray no more harm comes to Turkey's Jews.

Remember that all those muslims in Turkey are actually Christians whose ancestors were raped by their mahoundian conquerors and forcibly converted to islam: what a horrific fate! To be at the peak of civilisation- Byzantium - only to be forced back to the stone-age!
