THE SOLUTION TO THE STEELE PROBLEM: THE RNC SHOULD ADD BY ADDITION, NOT BY SUBTRACTION

IN A YEAR IN WHICH THINGS SHOULD BE FINE & DANDY, THERE ARE PROBLEMS AT THE RNC:
Glenn:

MOE LANE SAYS I SHOULD have more respect for the RNC.

Hey, at least I’m not trying to abolish it, like Mark Tapscott.

Many conservative and centrist poundits - like Mona Charen - think Steele should go.

I think there's another more elegant solution: the RNC should add by addition:
Insead of firing Steele, make him CO-Chairman with a person who can really run things --- like:

Haley Barbour or Jim Demint or Mitt Romney or Rudy Giuliani or Bill Frist or Andy Card.
There's ample precedent: Dodd and Fowler were co-chairmen of the DNC.
