LATEST POLL: LIB-DEMS WITH SLIM LEAD OVER TORIES; LABOUR LAGGING WELL BEHIND IN 3RD PLACE

POLITICS.CO.OK:

A YouGov poll for Monday's Sun has put the Liberal Democrats in first place – the second time in as many days that they have been placed in the lead.

The Lib Dems are on 33%, ahead of the Conservatives on 32%.

The gain appears to have come predominantly at the expense of Labour, which polled just 26%. Other parties polled at 8%.

Unbelievable!

JUST LIKE HERE: The people are rightly fed up with both major parties.

TELEGRAPH:

if the results were repeated at the election it would mean that Labour would mean that the Tories would have the most seats, with 244.

Despite being six points behind the Tories and seven behind the Liberal Democrats, Labour would have 243 seats.

The Lib Dems would get just 134, leaving them the powerbrokers in a hung parliament.

THIS WOULD BE BAD.

MY PREFERENCE WOULD BE FOR THE TORIES AND UKIP TO FORM A COALITION.

RIGHT NOW THE MOST LIKELY THING IS THE WORST: A LABOUR/LIB-DEM COALITION. MAYBE EVEN WITH CLEGG AS PM IF THE LIB-DEMS GET THE OVERALL POPULAR VOTE!

STAY TUNED OLD CHAP...
