WHY ARE THESE TWO MEN SMILING?
Because they both condemn Israel.
Abbas is very happy because Obama and Biden have de facto made it very difficult for Israel to build in Jerusalem even though Israel has said over and over again it will never give away east Jerusalem to anyone and even though Israel has never promised to have a moratorium on construction anywhere in Israel.
Obama is trying to force Israel to give up east Jerusalem before the two sides have even returned to the bargaining table.
This is anti-Israel, anti-Zionist and antisemitic.
No surprise here: Obama is doing what Reverend Wright always said he wanted: supporting Arabs and screwing Israel.
Jews who support Obama and Biden are supporting the enemies of Israel.
